The P5Flash was greyed out on mine too. While I was hooked up to the truck, since I was still in wifi range, I performed another "update" and it unlocked the P5Flash and I could continue with the installation.

 

Sometimes BOLD is necessary to put the right emphaSIS on the wrong syllable.

Did you make sure to whitelist all OVtune components from your antivirus?

Even the stock windows defender tried to block my OVtune and I had to make an exception after the fact but it worked.

 

I’m getting the same thing. Turned off my windows defender, tried a few times, and then gave up. I just sent a message to the support email so I’ll patiently wait for a reply. Let me know if you figure it out!

 

Yep. Sorry. Specifically, low rpm gains with 2.0 compared to 1.05.

 

- We are investigating the issue of the "internal error" in P5Flash
- All pending Holiday orders (with exception to dump tubes, waiting on them) should be shipped out this week
- I will be unavailable from Jul 17 - 22nd

 

I disabled.the whole windows defender program.

That should do it but it's likely that Windows defender already "quarantined" the OVtune files during your first attempt.

If so, disabling it doesn't help since it does not release the files that were taken hostage initially.

If you already made sure no OVtune files are quarantined and WD is off, then idk, maybe reinstalling.

speaking for myself since i can't speak for anyone else...

i have the catless dump tubes in hand but they are not installed until i get the tune from Mat. but before that i'm waiting on a set of gaskets to install the tubes. after the tubes are installed i'll flash 2.0 before first start and then i'll have something to say. i'm planning on trying both 91 & 93. i'm still on BFO, the full otto test file before FOB.

 

Can you please post part numbers for the gaskets? Thank you!

 

ask Mat, he's providing them. at least he said he is and i emailed him to make sure they are coming.

 

Sorry, thought you ordered them seperately from Toyota, missed the part that they come with the dump tubes.

 

not sure which thread i saw him mention it, but it was in the last couple days. he said you could re-use the gaskets but decided to send out new ones to the first round of tube owners. @OVTune please correct me if i'm wrong.

 

It depends on the gasket type, but certain metallic and coated metallic ones can be reused. They have been sweet on my bike for valve covers and intake and exhaust flanges. Never replaced them and they have been on and off more times than I can count.

 

Tagged for info on gasket part numbers or if Mat will be providing them with the dump tubes.
