Some of you may know. I am thinking about upgrading my laptop to a SSD. Would that effect my registration key?

I run an electric dump valve just before the OEM muffler so I have the option of super quiet or super loud exhaust. Would this have any negative affect on this tune? Guessing no since allot of you are running cat back exhaust anyway?

Don’t think so, but that’s pretty cool. Only seen that on muscle cars

The Y pipe re-route and dump valve actually turned out cheaper than any aftermarket cat back setup. The obnoxious noise when it's open is really fun....sometimes....

Too late. I'd just flashed 2.0 without clearing anything.

Same thing happened to me on the first drive. I drove to the end of the block from my house and was attempting a right turn, stepped on the accelerator about 1/3 of the way to get in front of some traffic but then it felt like I only had about 10% power available. After that it's been driving great like everyone else has said.

This was my process after flashing: turned the power off, started the engine to verify a successful flash, turned off the engine, reset values, started the engine, idled for about 10 minutes and then went for the above mentioned test drive.

There has been no other issues so far.

You’ll be fine. It just might take a little longer to settle. I’ve only had tech stream for a year, but have been tuned since the beginning. Before TS I just loaded the tune, let it idle , and then drove. Never had a problem.

been running 1.05 93 Base tune since Dec on a stock truck. Flashed 2.0 yesterday (didn't reset any values) and my initial impression is WOW... everything about it just feels better and right. My butt dyno says more power down low and the shifts are very smooth.

downside is that the truck is too quick to drop to 5th at the slightest grade on the highway. seems more like pre TSB and 1.05, tho I hope/expect this to improve with more miles on the tune.

I got on the interstate yesterday and used cruise control (in Drive, no ECT.) When going up hills, the truck dropped down to 5th gear instead of 4th gear for the first time in over 3 1/2 years. Watching the RPMs change from 1500 up to 2500 instead of 5000 was awesome! It brought a smile to my face seeing the truck shift like it should. We don’t have large hills or mountains in Louisiana, and I didn’t go up any steep bridges, but before 2.0 my truck would drop down to 4th often while using cruise control and driving the same route.
This is a big improvement. Anybody else use cruise control and see the difference?

mine was the opposite, with 1.05 base it held 6th longer and went back to 6th quickly, this after 2000 miles on the tune. A fresh 2.0 tune and it was in 5th a lot more, it seemed more like my TSB tune prior to 1.05.

Pretty much I did the same thing. No issues to report. Drove 23 miles to work this morning, nothing but gravy.

I just loaded the 87 2.0 beta and like it so far. The only thing I notice is that in Drive with ECT on, it will not downshift even with the accelerator to the floor. It downshifts fine with any other combination. Maybe Drive and ECT isn’t supposed to be used together or something. Also, I actually like that it downshifts from 6th to 5th on grade changes. They are both overdrive gears and 6th in my opinion should only be used on flat terrain. I might change my mind if I upgrade to the twin turbo option.

On my test drive today it only engages Gearlock with ECT on and S Mode. It shifted itself in Drive with ECT on.

Or is Drive and ECT not a valid combination when using the 2.0 Beta.

It will up shift normally, but only downshift if your slowing way down, like coming to a stop.
