Is it ever necessary to reset the LV and the AT? I just flashed 2.0, but left those alone because they weren't in the instructions.

Feels like it leaves third too fast, like 5-700 rpm too fast. I’m on pcm so I can’t clear values, does anyone else feel that way or is it just because I can’t clear them and it’s behaving like it always has.

    I’m not doing techstream.

Still? What rpm is it shifting out of 3rd to fast? I modified the table to extend possible 3-4 points further

Also for anyone logging please feel free to post ignition curves or send me logs so I can show curves with various octanes (include octane)

I reset ECU/TCU learned values and also feel it shifting too soon all the way to 5th also unless I have the throttle buried. Just initial test drive impression, will do 50 miles before sending feedback to zendesk.

I’d have to get back to you on numbers, but it was repeatable this evening, 3rd only stayed for a second before jumping into 4th at really low rpm. Have to stay on the throttle pretty good to not have it shift.

That being said, I don’t have a way to know 3rd from 4th with all the locking unlocking going on. It feels like the 3rd to 4th shift, but it could be 3rd locked to unlocked or vice versa. I’m too dumb to know which gear I’m in.

Still need more seat time, that was just my initial feeling.

I haven’t ever done a full throttle pull like that before, but the power was very smooth going up, didn’t feel that power band thing I used to feel.

Edit: I like the tip in too, feels somewhere in between 1.05 base and perf, nice job there too.

Cleared AT, flashed, idled, did three pulls, and drove about 45 miles 50/50 city/highway. I did not notice any issues. The most pronounced fix was the 3-4 shift. It actually held 3rd gear for much more than the half second it used to. On the highway it shifted flawlessly and would shift to 5th on hills it use to shift to 3rd or 4th on.
I was happy with 1.05, but the bar has now been raised.

    Thank you Mat!

I really wish I could clear values. Is that something that is eventually going to come to pcm? I’m thinking about just getting the handheld too though, assuming that has the power to clear the values?

I don't recall if it was ever proven (or disproven) that disconnecting the battery for several minutes was an effective way to clear values? @OVTune

EDIT: It appears to have been disproven according to the Service Manual.

I've put about 60 miles on mine. I didnt reset LV or AT. It did the quick shift from 3rd to 4th a couple times then stopped so far after that.

I already want to drive this truck into a tree because of how it shifts, I can wait for the 4.88 version.

First impression of 2.0 beta for 04A61 is Holy shit with a side of Damn. No to be real the truck drove amazing. Seems to have a shit ton more torque than I'm use to. The shifts seem to be crisp and at the right rpm except for the occasional shift from I believe 3rd to 4th then back to 3rd. Only seemed to do it a couple times. Hadn't noticed it since. The pedal push on the highway to downshift from 6th to 5th will take some getting use to. But I think it feels alot like my old 4 barrel car. I was also able to push down harder and shift to 4th pulling the big hill and not 3rd. I about shit my pants. I'm very pleased so far. The power is what I cant get over. I'm amazed.
