    for those that dont want to run the higher octane tune is there any advantage to the 87 tune over stock.

    100% concur. I don't really need crazy power gains and don't care to spend $0.60/gal extra for premium. All I run is 87 tunes and they are far superior to stock.

    I just spent 4 hours running errands around town in traffic. Truck performed better than it ever has and I got 17mpg. I normally avg. 14mpg. Power was there every time I needed it.
    This 2.0 tune is perfect for my truck!!

    Have about 200 miles on 2.0 already and for the most part it's great.
    One issue I am running into is on my morning commute (57N in SoCal) is going over a hill at about (70-75) it won't down shift from 6th and I'll lose speed. I can bump the accelerator and it'll down shift to 5th but then it'll immediately jump back to 6th. The only way it'll down shift is if I mash the accelerator all the way down. Anybody else seeing anything similiar?

    it learns both ways depending on knock feedback
    sorry flow chart courtesy of ms paint
    our logic uses KCLV to multiply base retard, effectively increasing or reducing ignition
    then our ignition result is compared to MBT, use MBT if greater
    if less than, compare to stock ignition adaptation
    if greater, use our logic.
    this ensures you get *at least* as good as stock adatation but never greater than MBT limits
