Congrats on getting into the shift maps. It was the gremlin from the beginning for all the AT guys I'd say. Weird throttle was/is an issue no doubt but a red herring. Looking forward to whatever else is in store for the MT.

Also, thanks. It truly surprises me that it has gotten this far. You AT guys shouldn't take this for granted - problems like this on platforms like this don't usually get any attention much less the attention received here.

Are these testers comprised of 02 and 03 ECU firmware revisions? Are there differences in the shift maps between 02 and 03 firmware?

And before you ask, no I don't have the tune yet, but now that 87 is happening and the trans is getting serious attention, I'm just a few positive reviews on 1.02c and another holiday sale away from purchasing...

The software only works on windows?? Buying a windows based computer is akin to buying a 3rd gen Tacoma ... nothing but problems.

If you read back or search for Virtual Box one of the members provided a good, free way to run Windows on mac. I have Windows 10 insider edition running on a Virtual box with everything stripped down to bare bones. Only use for tunes and it takes up 9gb on my HD just so I can do tunes.

I use Windows and it works perfectly fine for me as well as many others. The mindset that Windows is nothing but problems is outdated.
More power to anyone who prefers a different OS but but blanket statements like that are old school :)

Awesome, thanks! I started to consider how I was going come up with a functioning windows based laptop that hasn't been restricted by my employer ... a little bit more of a predicament in this day and age.

Haha, I wouldn't go that far

To each their own ... the only evidence my old school mindset has to use in evaluating such a choice is a box of non-functioning dells in my basement and one 5 year old macbook air on my desk that runs like the day I bought it.:notsure:

I have both and have never gotten a virus on my Mac but must run virus software on my PC and still have gotten viruses. Also, I will say my windows 10 machine crashes every other month or so and the Mac has not.

No lol. I work in IT and windows is flawed by design. It's still my preferred platform, but only because it is widely supported.

When was the last time you fixed a problem in Linux by just rebooting? How about windows?

That virus thing is kind of a myth. Macs don't get viruses like windows because sophisticated viruses aren't developed for it.
