That’s the plan for the official 2.0 release. The 2.0 beta GL works the same as before.....ECT button.

Not yet, these are just beta tunes for testing. Once he finalizes the release, I'm pretty sure there will be non-GL versions.

Back to 2.0 (93). I like it better than the Octane Learning (OLE) version. I also have 93 at every gas station within 300 miles. Any one else do the same?

I like the 93 version better for several reasons: Tip in is less aggressive. Shift points work better for me on 33’s. Feels like there is more Hp/tq available at lower rpms (1,500-3,000). Holds higher gears better without as much TC slippage with steady throttle position. Better TC response with acceleration at highway speeds and less downshifts.

    - Tip-in aggressiveness. 1.05 91 Base < 2.0 (93) <2.0 (OLE) < 1.05 91 Performance

But with a dongle you can use any laptop instead of just being registered to one (or whatever the max is) with the dongleless.

Just bought a used laptop on CL and it was plug and play after I loaded everything

    DONGLE USER here.

I haven't tried to re-flash my truck in several months. I've been running 1.05-93-perf, but I'm trying to switch to 1.05-87-perf for an upcoming road trip. Unfortunately, my trusty laptop and/or updated flash software isn't cooperating at all. Any help here would be much appreciated.

    1. I updated the flash manager (it says 1.3.0)
    2. the latest Guardant drivers are installed and "Guardant SP" is listed in Device Manager
    3. Disabled Windows firewall completely

    ISSUE:
Receiving an error when I try to download any of the 1.05 or 1.05.1 tunes for my truck. It DOES allow me to download the "STOCK" tune file, but everything else gives me this error:

    Same here.

Since the Tacoma is actually my wifes truck. if there's more tip in than base, she won't be happy. Ovtune is on the truck only So i don't go nuts with it shifting all the time when i have to drive it.

also hoping low range has even less tip in for more control in the rocks

The upshift bog coming out of corners came back this morning. Also tip in seems to be getting more aggressive. Not like 1.05 Performance but getting a little lurching if not careful.

2016 B030 here. Just got off the phone with my local Toyota dealer where I get my service. Was told that my vehicle VIN is "not applicable" for any TSB update :argue:. Looks like I'll be updating to B040 myself. Any help would be awesome, and thank you

Are those of you that are sending feedback to Mat via zendesk getting replies? I’ve sent about 5 messages over the course of about 2 or 3 weeks with no response. I just want to make sure he’s getting the messages and hopefully reading them. I have some feedback regarding misfires. @OVTune

I get the automatic confirmation replies. But IIRC, Mat said he may not respond to all feedback.

That’s not how TSBs work. You have to complain about the way the vehicle is behaving. Specifically quote the language in the TSB. I was B030 last year. Took it to a dealer and quote the language from the TSB for high altitude hesitation. since I love at sea level, I told them that it happened on a weekend trip to Vermont.
