There is actually a person here who has a catted set and can attest to the quality of the pipes. There is nothing else that even comes close, let alone a catted option at all.

 

It's a tough crowd. They'll complain about anything and add nothing constructive.

 

On the flat road? If I do, i will leave my comfort zone in 5 sec. Tested

 

I have been waiting patiently for this day (Monday) @OVTune will the tubes be coming with new gaskets and all necessary hardware or will we need to reuse or source our own?

 

Any one complaining about a 7 week wait has apparently never ordered a product that isn’t mass produced garbage sitting on a shelf.

 

In Mat's defense He said it would probably be the end of July before any were shipped when they went on sale. He did update us about two weeks ago that He was waiting on the fabricator and the primary delay was because of the number of orders He got from the 4th of July sale.

 

Weird. 4.88’s are cherry for me with 32’s. I can hold 5th uphill easily unless I go slower than 55mph.

If you are running 33’s there is a significant difference in weight and rpm range. Weird how 1” makes so much difference ...

 

I could be mistaken, but I think you guys took his comment the wrong way. A kickstarter project doesn’t mean poor quality.

I think he was just poking at the fact that OV said he’d give an update yesterday and didn’t.

 

Go back and see his other posts. If something is 30 seconds late, it’s the end of the world.

 

Im ok with time and quality, all Im asking for is an estimated time of arrival. Seems like every time someone asks a legitimate question they become a bad customer. Are you not tired of chargebacks? I have had at least a half a dozen people PM and say they got their money back. A little customer service will go a long way.

 

Yeah I have 33s, run 32s for winter tires though.

 

Not taking $ in advance of product in hand is also a possibility....

 

Pathetic...

 

When I bought the dump tubes I saw a lead time of 3-4 weeks which seemed reasonable, I would even be ok with 8-12, just be upfront about it and not shun people when they start asking where their purchase is.

 

People want to preorder and complain about the wait

Preorders aren’t allowed and people complain they can’t place an order

It’s a no win situation. Someone is pissed off either way.

It’s also been said before - he can spend time helping customers and developing products or spend all day giving people constant updates and make no progress.

I’ll take development and patience.

 

How is asking for a lead time pathetic?

 

"If you guys instead want us to make it with cheaper materials like MIG welded mild steel and not fully backpurge TIG welded SS I bet they can be made faster, and shittier." NO thanks!!

 

How many times do you need told that the initial order was for 5 sets and more are on the way as fast as they can be.
