@OVTune will the 04b04 include 4.88 update, if any?

I have an appointment tomorrow to get TSB 0058-18 bringing me to B040. Currently running 1.04 B030. Should I revert back to stock before taking the truck in to get updated? Or should everything be okay. Don't remember if the tune is detectable or if It's even a big deal. Thanks

No need to revert back to stock first.

The dealer won’t be able to detect the 1.04 tune but as a byproduct of the ECU update you’ll likely end up with the stock tune anyway. I wouldn’t bother reverting beforehand.

You can update to 04A61 using Tsb 0062-18..You can use Techstream yourself or get a dealer to do it.

I've been considering it. God I hate going to the dealer. I'm about due for the 10k service anyway.

I think this has been asked before but should I flash back to stock before taking it in? Should I expect the dealer to charge for it?

I always hear flash back to stock but I don’t see a stock tune option in flash manager. Is there one?

Select your ECU ID and under either tune version or octane there should be a “stock” selection

This tsb is only for 2016-18;not sure if they extended it to 2019

I have a cracked copy and know how to use TechStream with CUW files. The issue is that there is no known TSB that includes an update to 04B31. Some trucks simply arrived from the factory with B31 instead of B30, and I've yet to see any explanation for the differences between the two versions.
