Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I have reinstalled my Reg key, and everything is up to date. After updating through Flash Manager, the bottom tray installs p5flash_v1.2.2. I find this file in the corresponding folder attempt to open it up and get the message - Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus/unwanted software..
The file will then disappear shortly afterwards! Requiring me to keep updating.
Firewall has been turned off, and an exception has been made for p5flash..

 

I’d wash my motor down and check fluids. I’ve never had that problem before and I beat my truck up pretty bad considering it’s the 3rd one in four years. Lol

 

AntiVirus/Windows Defender, turn this off.

 

You need a new key. Send us a message with the system ID it shows. Cloning your HDD still changes it

 

Also alot folks on here just make an exception in windows defender for the whole folder that flash manager is in.

Machine as in your PC right? That SSD upgrade will be the only upgrade I do to the laptop, and boy was it worth it..

 

Yes. Your laptop or what ever you use for the flashing. I run Mac machines and have a dedicated windows machine for the tune.

Sounds like TC toggling between lock and slip lock possibly. Since you have a 2017 did you verify the trans fluid level?

 

No. 2017 off road 4X4 A/C. 1.05 perf.

Do you have the. ECGS mod?

 

I would check the fluid level. Many were under-filled from factory 16-18's. My 2019 was almost a half quart low.

Yep. And people underestimate how much difference a half quart makes in these trucks (it is significant)

 

East Coast Gear Supply. It corrects the Toyota F.U. on the front diff.
gearing. Vibration at speed. Could be? Had mine done, no problems. It has to do with just the front left side. (drivers side)
