@OVTune I'll ask the obvious question: what's the rough outlook for getting the above completed? ..couple of days? ...couple weeks? ...couple months?

 

I just hope nobody rushes him / gets impatient.

 

Agreed, I asked the rough estimate for completion question above to help keep folks at bay and to avoid the continual "is it done yet?" questions what will constantly be posted until its delivered.

 

Are any of you MT guys with "stutters" or "misfires" monitoring this on an OBD device? Torque Pro or the like? I'm wondering how you confirmed its happening. The shitty transitions in power delivery (stepped cam timing/Injection transition/TBW maps) are certainly noticeable. I'm wondering how I can confirm if mine is stumbling or whether its the transitions I am feeling.

Stock ECU tune here BTW.

 

So you asked the question your trying to get people to not ask?

 

It's the transitions, 1.02 clears 98% of these up.

 

No, I asked for a rough estimate to set expectations. For example if he responds that it will take him at least a month or two, then we can avoid the daily "is it done yet" between now and then. Hell he may even respond back "no clue yet", which is setting the expectation that it will be a long road ahead. Setting expectations is much better than leaving things open and causing people to guess and get frustrated.

That said and given this is TW, I suppose most may like the having things open ended to keep the drama flowing

 

going at it as fast as I can. have 3 different trucks that we are working a combination of different shift settings on all gears to dial in each, and get feedback from 3 different drivers.
I dont have an exact ETA, but a month is too long.

Hopefully at least a couple of those are 100% stock (i.e. no variables in intakes or exhaust to account for)?

 

Got an alert from USPS saying my package was delivered, but there's no package. Chased my mail lady down and asked her "WTF?" like you would in this situation and she told me that she didn't have anything for me today and not to trust the tracking alerts. Ugh. Frustrating.

 

I've had that happen with USPS with other items and turned out that meant it was delivered to local post office? Got it the next day.

 

We already know that's going to happen.

 

I've had it happen regularly and they've delivered to someone else's condo.

 

these are being sent without signature required?

 

I'm just here for more of that Manual transmission tune refinements and cool stuff!

 

What comes in the box isn’t worth the same as what youre paying for.

 

But I need the stuff in the box to get what I'm paying for.
