I haven’t had that behavior stock or in 1.5.1. The throttle clearly cuts at 6500 and does not shift. It then recovers in the same gear at 4500 and then it shifts.

Without ECT on the truck will only rev to 5500 in drive in 2nd before shifting to 3rd.

I understand what you were trying to counsel me on. The initial comment was so asinine because a) its a Beta, the developer is looking for feedback. b) the situation presented was not out of the ordinary

Yes there will be a way. Even though on our blog we initially decided to use the crawl control dail, not all trucks have this.
So instead, we are implementing a way to work on all trucks. Yes MT too.
Have tons of boxes to prep so I won't be available on the forum for a bit.

Anyone else running 2.0 with catless dump tubes? I've had a CEL since install but the truck runs so well with them it's a small price to pay. I just installed the OLE tune and still get a CEL.

In my 40+ years of driving the California highway/freeway systems, did I ever have to bump against the rev limiter to safely merge with traffic. But you do what you have to do.
I am enjoying 2.0 beta on 87 so far, even with only 60 miles on it. Big difference over 1.05...cheers.

We need that long dreamt-of sarc font.

I was out wheeling when the Taco was new and got stuck in some heavy melting snow. I was in my MT Sport, another Taco was along (DCSB OR AT), as well as a JKU with 35s. We all got stuck. I was able to work my way out with a lot of gentle spinning. The OR was stuck just as bad. Nothing was working until MTS / CC was engaged. It walked out of the stuff like a dream. The JKU needed a winch, but he backed into a shallow ditch to let others by.

So while I do sing praises for MTS / CC, I view it as a nice to have and not a necessity. Two sides of the same coin, sharpened enough to split hairs. :D

30yrs of driving in PA and WA, I tickle the limiter just about daily when merging safely. You do you.

And up in the Northern US, they're all smirking with their ACLB OR MTs.

Or, upset that they can't get DCSB OR MTs? o_O

I just took my first 3 hour trip using the latest 2.0 beta for 04B04. I averaged ~75-80 MPH with moderate hills and 21.5 MPG with 93 octane. Shifting even with cruise control was awesome. It would either hold 6th, or mildly downshift to 5th and hold speed. I have a stock 2016 TRD Sport DCLB.

    It's actually the opposite.

04B31 beta was released, but 04B30 was not.

Devil Dog, let me know if this issue persists after you do the reset AT or LV. I also have a 2019 w/04B31 and am looking to upgrade to 2.0 beta today.

Good job MT Guys/Gals always having to ruin it for us AT peeps. Now we will have to do two pulls in reverse at 7k while inputting the contra code on the steering wheel to change tunes.

Now you know why no one goes to your birthday parties and why your parents recorded over your first bday party tape with Suzanne Somers work out videos.

Go cry somewhere else lol and stop ruining it for us.......jk jk I kid.
