Free LS swap of course. Probably the only thing that would satisfy him. People don't realize this motor isn't really a truck motor, so the tune helps but without FI it still won't be a V8.

I'd rather skip and go back to TSB.
Fyi, I was on TSB between 1.05.1 release and 1st week of July.
I had no issues to drive 1.05 or any of 2.0 vs that I tested on open road.
The entire experience is getting sour once you hit congested traffic.
    I'm looking for all ro
    Understood.

I don't think my truck is an outlier. There are quite a few out there with the same exact issues.

I rented a Nissan Frontier when I was traveling out of town this week and they have a lot more low end torque than Tacomas. They are really dated though, but the low end torque was nice.

Interesting cause I think Vlady is one of the opinions I value a little bit more. He isn't shit talking the tune but giving his educated opinion on it based off of facts. I know he collects data on his test drives and seems to understand how an engine runs beyond just a hobby level that most people possess here (if that). He seems to be providing specific feedback to Mat (and publicly) to help make the tune better. Constructive criticism.
Personally, I never got past the 2.0 4.88 GL tune a little while ago cause I believe it's about as good as it'll get for my truck but I know Mat is still improving things from feedback from everyone whether it be good or critical. All of the constructive feedback helps to make the tune better for us

What's is wrong with being critical?
It is still beta or alpha or whatever. We are all in it together.
FYI, I'm not desperate and I did not lose anything.
Problem with all versions is that they don't have all around performance. Yes, ov tune is great on open roads with some minor issues, but in congested traffic it is a chore to drive.
But If you feel that I'm some sort of a whinny little bitch, you are wrong. I dont give an ef, I just communicate in straight lines....

I think everyone should go drive the early trucks like me and @MOC221_ and others had. Then you’ll understand that even though this isn’t “finished”, it is exponentially better than the factory tunes as is. Each new release is a bonus

100%. I have an early 16' model, and the factory tune was a joke to say the least. It was so bad that I was honestly ashamed I even bought the truck, the first year of ownership. I'll patiently await a final product, but you also would not hear me complain if the beta 2.0 was the last iteration I flashed to the truck. There will always be room for improvement, but I am very happy with where we have got to. The remaining issues are largely caused by mechanical factors such as gearing at both the rear end and transmission.

Normally I wouldn’t either, but all National had was two dated Frontiers. I need a couple more rentals and then I get bumped up to some nicer option.

Yep, I'll second that! The original tune in the '16 was pretty bad to say the least. I've ran every tune since 1.03 and I've got to say the first version of 2.0 is spot on in my truck. I ran the latest 2.0 and didn't like it and went back to the first version. Just when you think you're happy and it can't get any better, Mat comes up with a surprise!

Same the first version of 2.0 was awesome. The tip in was a little too aggressive for my taste

Has anyone experienced an improvement in fuel economy after updating to 04A61 and then flashing 1.05 base tune vs 04A60 with 1.05 base tune? I've been used to seeing 14-16mpg on my daily commutes in traffic and now it hovers around 18mpg with close to 20mpg on a good morning.

I recently drove a 2016 Frontier (same year as my truck). It literally felt unsafe and drove like shite compared to my Tacoma. No thanks

It turned out to be Firefox not wanting to update Java. TS would display that it needed to update Java in order to run. Firefox appeared to perform the update, but did display a small notice that my version of Firefox would not run it correctly.

I made IE my default browser, updated Java and TS started working. Thanks for all the help.

If that's the case people aren't telling me. I do have a few tickets with people not liking 3-4th gear but worse than stock, no.

And if they are telling you and not me that's an issue because I can't fix what I don't know.

Also FYI to everyone, if you are only posting feedback on here then it's effectively no feedback at all. Please send it to zendesk.

Finally, for everyone, it's not necessary to be excessively critical in reviewing OLE. I've already publicly stated what needs to be fixed and it's about to be obsolete later today.
