Never tried the performance 1.05, so I can't speak for that tune. The only thing I can liken this 2.0 19770 'tip in' issue is that it is like having a more aggressive ECT.
I don't use ECT because of its 'tip in'.

I should disclose that I am a ~60 year old driver and operate my truck as such.

I don't think the tip in is aggressive at all with the beta tune. I ran 1.05 91 perf and that tip in was faaar more aggressive than this.

I just broke traction trying to back into my driveway. I never even came close to that on 1.05 Performance

I think that's a very important factor -- especially since so many people avoided the 1.05 performance tunes due to their aggressive tip-in. Some of us enjoy it, some don't.

I've only ever run the performance versions, so the aggressiveness may not bother me at all. That's why I'm curious how it compares to the performance tunes, specifically.

I was going to log more miles but I felt like the 1.05 perf and the current tip-in were very similar but slightly toned down here. Will be trying the new 19800 build tonight if I can. Keep in mind I am an 99% stock build.

    1.05 was more aggressive.

Wow, I couldn't imagine a more aggressive 'tip in'. That would drive me crazy at each stop.

I liked running with ECT on but kicked loose on every start if I didn't baby it. Any wet road conditions with my old tires (now replaced) was interesting to get up and go.

I noticed when I flashed to the first 2.0 GL that the tip in was crazy but I didn’t rest my values. After resetting my truck drove much better. I’m hoping people are resetting values or at least waiting for it to settle before they’re saying that there are issues with the tune

Yeah, some people like it some don't. Just gotta try them and see which fits you best (sounds like you already know what you want).

I got used to the tip in on 1.05 perf tune after a week or so, but going to the first 2.0 OLE beta was such a nice change for me personally because it was such a linear/lower tip in.

From the post, sounds like he will post them on the download page? I'm curious too as I plan on trying it once released.

I only have about 5 miles on the 19770 beta, but to me the tip in on 1.05 performance was more aggressive. But like I said, I only have 5 miles and can't judge how it will be as it settles.

I also didn't think the tip-in was that bad on 1.05 performance. Took a little getting used to yes, but not that bad (on my truck!). Bone stock 2017 4x4 off-road long bed

    I totally agree!
I have 32” heavy tires and this tip in is perfect!

Just make sure you Zendesk which one you like and highlight the non-stock features of your truck. It looks like they are trying to get a good library of tune components so they have the ideal factors for stock, heavy tires, extra weight, gearing, ect. broken down for us.

Couldn't stand the tip in on 1.03, avoided 1.05 performance like the plague. Stock 2017 Pro with 265/75/16 Cooper Discoverer AT3.

The tip in preference is definitely divided among OV Tune customers.

For me, winter driving in the mid-west with aggressive tip in is downright dangerous.

I like 2.0 beta a lot but I do miss the little punch that the ECT brought me with the 1.05 performance tune. You don't get that anymore with 2.0.
