I thought the same, after a few tankfuls it calmed down a lot. When I first put it on, I thought
"no way, I'm gonna run into someone w/ all the traffic here." I turned off ect and it was much better
but I really like what ect + the tune does so after a couple weeks I turned it back on and it's just
right now - but yes, lotsof division on the tip-in here.

I kept loading the newest tune each time thinking "it's what's we should do" until OV posted one
day saying "just use the one YOU like, if you don't like the newest version, go back to what you
like best and at this point can't imagine I'd change it out unless some POWER version came out.

Its possible that A061 has the worst tip in/touchy peddle issue with this tune on stock truck. I can honestly say it’s a little worse then 1.05. These trucks are so different from ECU to ECU as seen in the past. Looking forward to 19800!

I drove my brother-in-law brand new 2019 off-road auto with 900 miles (not OV tuned), the tip in is perfect. Shifts points are not as good as OVT, but tip in is just right, no lurch, no jerk, no delay.

I was going to ask the same thing. I’m A061 and find it to be worse than 1.05 Perf. I only have 25 miles on it so far, so I haven’t submitted to Zendesk

I am 04A61 and I think the tipin is fine. It will settle after some miles anyway. It has on all the tunes.

I like the tune for aggressive driving. Tip in is a bit aggressive, but it the response feels great throughout the entire rpm range - even feels like it’s more linear on power delivery from 2,500 -3,500 with less of a power band hit (especially noticeable with Gear Lock active)

Having the ability to shift between tunes on the fly is going to be awesome.

Thinking of my BMWs modes: comfort, sport, and sport +, I’d pick
    Comfort: EROM 2.0 93
    Sport: EROM 2.0 19770
    Sport +: future performance tune

32” c rated tires and full armor.

Supposed to help maximize the amount of air that goes into the intake and increase torque and HP.Does it work? Not noticeably

    ZenDesk Ticket #10056

2016 TRD OR AT, 0B04 ECU, Stock tires, Height, Gearing, etc., 93 octane in the tank

Installed the 19770 tune this morning and have put a little over 100 miles on it today. I decided to start with a clean slate and reset the engine and transmission LVs.

My initial impressions are good. Tip in is pretty aggressive, but I can adjust to it and rumor is it will smooth out as the miles pile on. I still may take Mat up on the slightly milder tip in for the few times my wife may take the wheel and plow into our son’s (permanently?) parked TrailBlazer.

Shifting is “different” compared to the previous OLE tune. Some harshness was noted at first, but seems to be smoothing out (note to self- I did reset the transmission LVs). Around town, it seems to like staying around 2000 rpm (good for power/responsiveness, but mpg’s probably take a hit).

There’s a definite drop in mpg’s, but not unexpected this early on and with a tune definitely leaning toward the performance side.

I experimented with GearLock and this is where I was surprised. I was cruising with my CC (non-adaptive) set at 80, in “D” @~2000 rpm, ECT on (I know- upshifts, but no downshifts in this configuration). I cancelled CC for slower traffic to about 65-70 mph and then re-engaged once traffic cleared. I expected the Taco to stay in 6th and slowly accelerate back to 80. What surprised me was my Taco shot off like a rocket at 3500+ rpm. This was a definite downshift and not just a TC unlock. Without CC, GL works as I understand it should, but at least on my Taco, CC seems to by-pass GL. I re-read Mat’s postings on GL and see no mention of this behavior, but feel free to let me know what idiotic mistake I made.

Yah but 93 octane CANNOT be standard because it’s not readily available for most

Gear lock does not work with cruise control. Mat talked about it when Gear lock was first introduced. It's somewhere in this mess of a thread.
