Can you run 2.0 beta on 89 octane gas?

Depends on which beta. Not the latest one though. You could, but it’s tuned for 91 and up octane.

The very first one that he released. Have not downloaded any others from the website yet. This was one he had sent directly.

All of the public beta releases so far have required a direct download from the beta page on OVTune's website. Mat hasn't made any of the beta tunes available via Flash Manager.

got it, I'm hesitant to change because I like the tip in on the base 91 tune. I'll give it a try and swap back after 50 miles if I don't like it. the performance and gearlock tune was a bit too sensitive off the line.

Base 91 giving you decent performance and mpg?

The good thing about these tunes is that you can always load one up, and if you don't like it you can just reflash to what you were using before. Or reflash to stock. There's literally no reason NOT to try them all out to see what works best for you and your turck.

Anyone know if the 2020’s have a new ECU tune/update?
If they do, will Toyota put out a new TSB/update?
I’ve been reading on the threads about the 2020’s that the shifting has been improved. Just wondering if they updated the ECU. @OVTune ?

I like the tip in and overall shifting better than anything else so far. MPG seems good too, but i've only logged 70 miles on it.
I just tried the 2.0 and I didn't like the tip in, so I already switched back. I know that they will learn a bit eventually, but I know it will always keep that more aggressive throttle and I don't like that. I like linear... the way it should be IMO. Thats why there is a gap between the pedal and the floor LOL :)
NOW, if we could get a base 91 with a gear lock so I can tow and keep it in the gear I want, without down shifting on its own.

how did you manage to get the key gen to download? I have all of my virus protection turned off but it seems that the website itself isn’t letting me down load it...fucking frustrating to say the least.

Short for naturally. Didn't think I needed to repeat that the tune needs mileage to settle in, since it's been mentioned umpteen times in this thread.

I think I had to right click the download button (Using chrome) then click download or save it then gave me the choice to download anyway because it saw it as a virus still I clicked download and got it to do it.

yeah that’s not an option. Says only the owner can download files with a virus.

@tonered any help getting the key gen to download or can you send it to me another way? I have tried everything and it won’t download due to google blocking it for being a virus.
