The previous 2.0 Octane Learning Beta has been the best for MPG and power imo, the current one is good but the throttle is more sensitive which makes it a bit less predictable and you can only use 91/93 octane on it.

 

Looks like you're on flash mgr 1.3 which is the latest..
Have you tried
Config > purge local data
Then
Config > install all software

 

Yeah I did. After turning all virus protection off and looking around the file I located flash manager 1.1.99 in the “bin” of the file. Opened it that way. The other version I was using was 1.83. Maybe this works.

 

Ok, I got pcmflash open but it was unsuccessful in loading the tune. Any suggestions now. Sorry about the wormhole. What type of file should I save the 2.0 file as.

 

When was the update page last updated? I haven't been as active the last month.

 

don't do anything - just let the computer save it exactly as it downloads - it too should have a pcm extension. Double check you downloaded the pcm extension and not the p5f.

 

is the truck on without the engine running? 2 button presses

 

well I am not a pcm user - p5f for me. ??? Do you have your dongle in a 2.0 usb slot? I could help you through this is I was a pcm user but I don't know sh#$ about it. Hopefully some here will jump in and save the day for you.

Is PCM Flash up to date? When I had the issue it was out of date. Or you can try what @mZiggy suggested and disconnect the battery and hold the cables together for a few minutes

 

Is there any less risky way than a bootleg copy of TS to clear the learned values? Has anyone successfully asked their local dealer to do that? Now I really wish I had the dongle-less version of OVTune.

 

Yeah it’s up to date. Just upgraded yesterday. I’ve had 1.05 on the truck since it was released. I problems before now.

 

Any plans for another batch of dump tubes? Or any cancelled orders

Did you try to clear DTC in PCM Flash?

 

Try clearing DTC's then cycle the truck off and then back on again if you haven't yet.
