Oh yeah... does this new tune have GL?
I’ll have to recheck the page.

Anyone have any info on when the hand held orders will actually go out? I’ve been told today/tomorrow a few times now and it still has not been dropped off at ups. Just curious if anyone has recently gotten one or what’s up.

19800 91 Octane is PERFECT for daily driving. Tip-in is exactly where it needs to be to effectively manage the throttle response at slower speeds. Having 19770 as a selectable option in the future will be like having a sport mode available. The ability to have GL in both tunes by selecting S mode makes me feel spoiled. And on top of that, I can keep the ECT option in D mode for pulling my trailer.
Seriously, @OVTune nailed it. Mat, please don’t worry about the minority who will always complain. Well done!!!

edit for clarity: as not to confuse some new users. S mode GL and ECT availability are future 2.0 capabilities not available in 19800 build. I’m just excited about the final release of 2.0.

Not even. 2.0 has so many more things tuned and adjusted. Not like 1.05 at all

Build 19800 is exactly the same as 19770 with tip in changes. nothing else.

    I was going to say....
Mine still upshifts and downshifts with gl on. Never understood it but I like it!

But... if you keep it in D while pulling a trailer you're not locking it out of overdrive (5th and 6th) which is strongly recommended.

I've seen a recent lack of appreciation for you here, so I just wanted to say thanks for your hard work here. Looking forward to loading 2.0 when I can get some free time (I'm also working with the baby fun stuff!).
    Cheers,
    Gordon

Wow, what a change going from 19770 to 19800! I may have been converted to a big tip in type of guy, to be honest. Going on a road trip next week so I have approx. 1 week to figure out which I like more ahhhh.

will check back. Hoping for 04b04 4.88 87 octane (performance or base). If not - no problem because the initial release is 99% perfection. Thanks Mat!

So 19800 just has a less aggressive tip-in than 19770? If that's all then I'll stick with 19770 as I love the tip-in with my new taller tires. Thanks!

Drive 65 then hit ect and you will feel a surge if power without moving the skinny pedal. Whatever that is

i love the tip in on 19800. I also like the smoothness coming out of a turn being i drive city most of the time. Jerkiness is gone, very nice matt.
