    Edit: Zendesk Ticket 10467

The zendesk will get the exact assessment from me too.

I'm running 04A61 19800 and can corroborate Dirk_Pit's assessment. My 19800 tune has only ~100 miles on it, using 87 octane fuel and I reset LV and AT at flashing.

Coming out of a street corner, it seems the the truck doesn't know what to do or what gear for the required load is needed.

I'll give it a full tank before deciding if I am going to flash back to 2.0 Base, which for me, has been the best tune.

I've been driving with monitoring app for about a year and never seen TC locked in 3rd.
    On stock and any versions.

I agree with all of this on my A61 truck also.

Has anyone ran 4.88 gears tune on a stock geared truck to see if the shift points are better for some?

Do you get the shudder/surge feeling when you come out of a corner at about 1100-1200rpm? I get that and I have to give it more throttle for it to finally downshift and get out of it. That’s really the only complaint about 19800

I am 04A61 2018 TRDOR with no mods other than a drop in air filter. I’ve been running 93 octane with the 91 tune. The only issue I’ve been having is while cursing between 30-50mph the truck with shift up and cruise at 1100-1200 rpm which is fine but when it comes to accelerate the truck seems to lug with a slide shudder/surge. It’s not major you can just feel it. It seems as if the truck wants to downshift then it decides not to and back and forth until you finally give it enough gas, which I’d say is about 1/4 the pedal travel and it will downshift and all is well. It does something similar to this while cruising at highway speeds 65-75 but when you go to accelerate it doesn’t lug and shudder. You just press the pedal down about 1/4 of the way and it downshifts and goes. That’s the only thing I’ve noticed so far. Mpg’s are up, tip in is perfect and the power is there. I’ve ran about 250-300 miles on the tune. I plan on switching to 87 tune since I travel for work now and it’s too expensive.

I believe I get the surge after the corner, where the truck falls on its face and then, without any more throttle, it downshifts to get it where it thinks it needs to be and then up shifts. It should have been in the lower gear as I first slowed and encountered the turn.

Every 2.0 tune that I have flashed, shifts perfect when the engine/trans is cold and warming up. The first 5-10 minutes of my commute through town each morning is 'shift heaven'.
But, once warmed up, all these TC lock/unlock and now cornering surge issues manifest themselves.

Here you go,one video with a normal start and a hard pull in 2nd to 6800rpm and into 3rd until I may or may have not passed triple digit mph before shifting to 4th.

This one is normal driving up to a 75mph cruise.

Here's one of me leaving work to do the other videos with the passenger window down about 3",the wind was blowing to hard to have it down all the way. Normal driving for the most part, I kept it in third going up the hill so I didn't lug the engine, I could have pushed the car in front of me as I had plenty of power at that rpm. Near the end when I got froggy I skipped a gear and went from 2nd to 4th.

Yep and it isn't restricted much,I used a 2 1/2" spiral core glasspack as a resonator in front of the flowmaster dual outlet muffler.

I have a cut up MBRP and resonator in the crawl space. I need to get a welder and play around with it.

I know exactly what you mean. My truck is the same way when it first gets started and I start my commute.
