This has been exactly my experience as well. Now that I have enough throttle time on 19770 it is by far the best tune to date for my 2019 04B31. It just goes. I had hoped 19800 would just soften the initial tip in a bit but it seems to be across the entire pedal travel. 19800 is a very good tune but feels like a base tune and 19770 is a performance tune. If I’m paying more for 91 or 93 I like to feel the difference and 19770 delivers for sure.
Great work Mat and thank you.

Indeed. The tip-in is perfect for a light foot and I believe on the highway one can achieve crazy good mpgs being able to hold the momentum of the vehicle with the “aggressive” tip-in even though it feels quite normal. And it’s even better with the 4.88’s. At 65-70mph I can hold 6th uphill on 35 degree inclines. At 45-60 it holds 5th beautifully

that is their "dongle" hitting them in the face or vibrating through their hand into their leg. All this dongle, non-dongle whining has me glad I can just download my P5F files and have no issues with the entire process. Hope Mat pulls the plug on the whining dongle users and makes them move to the simple world - at no cost - so no more bitch'n. 19800 04b04 4.88 87 base and no issues non-dongle. FYI - could be low atf. did a complete flush and fill at 38,000. drives way better. found I was still short after the mother ship said I was only 3/4 qt low.

Absolutely. Sumbitch is a rocket ship. So easy to maintain speed and timely downshifts. MPG’s are the best so far. Learned how to drive the tune and the tip in is perfect for me. I love it.

19770 was an awesome Beta. If your gonna pay for 91+ why run a base tune LOL. Back to I have too much power said no one ever until I came to TW LMAO.

91/93 base tunes are great on power. You don’t have to have all the power/throttle in the first 1/2” of the pedal.

I’ve switched to stock for the last couple of days for perspective, it sucks to be honest. I’m moving back to 19800 tonight. Looking forward to 4.88 19800 pcm, or my handheld, whichever comes first.

2018 04a61, Not for pcm yet, I’m dongle. My handheld should ship soon though I hope so I can use the p5f version. I bought Labor Day weekend and got a shipping label on 9/13, but it hasn’t actually been shipped yet.

If you flash back to stock...is there evidence of an aftermarket tune the dealer can see

2017 04B03 AT 4x4 TRD Offroad 1.05 91 preformance tune. Have about 200 miles on tune and on two occasions while accelerating from the on ramp onto the highway things are great...but if i have to come off the throttle for traffic and accelerate again there is a very violent shift. I have noted the gear or rpm range at this time but will try to during next similar situation. Any thoughts?

Still stock on the stock tune and get an unsuccessful message right after the ecu ID. 2018 and a dongle user. I've tried three different laptops and and every suggestion but still no go. I did the zendesk thing 2 weeks ago and no help. Matt respond on this thread and said he would look into it and nothing. I've had the OVT for almost two years and was one of the first customers to have the tune for the 2018. First time I've needed help and to be honest, I'm disappointed with the customer support. Makes me very leery to flash. If I brick the ecu is there going to be any help.

I have them too and have flashed the 87 tune with no issues probably 800 miles on the tune. So far the best tune for my truck and she’s heavy. Front bumper winch, high clearance rear swing out, camper, sliders, full skids gas tank too all steel and 295/75/16. Drove the Texas hill country beautifully no shifting up or down nothing. Honestly next mod was gonna be regear might wait off because of tune. @OVTune keep up the great work.

A few questions for you guys and gals that are tuned. I'm totally interested in seeing how this will change my driving experience. But, I'd probably stay at the base 87 tune for now, since, well, gas prices here are hefty for 91. Do you see much difference over stock in the lower RPM band with that tune? A lot of what I see is that people see noticeable gains at the 4k RPM range. Well, I don't really pedal my truck that hard. I try to baby it all I can, but I'd like to get rid of the sluggish delayed reaction this truck seems to have. And lastly, just for confirmation, I can't do this from my MacBook, right?? Thanks.

Does anyone with dump tubes have the gasket part numbers on hand?
