If you are stock gears you should only have to clear the LV. If you are flashing to non-stock gear tune for the first time clear both LV and AT. Since Mat has not released any 5.29 tunes you may want to send him a request via his zen desk - I am pretty sure many 5.29 mods are waiting for the 5.29 tune like you.

    Got it, thanks @GoldenBrew
I was so anxious to flash a beta tune after finally receiving the TSB that I didn't think about the reset. Going to give it a try in a bit here.
I'm trying to just get by on the 4.88 tune until he (Mat) gets everything situated and back in full gear. I'm totally happy with a functional 1.05 as that's what I bought but am absolutely looking forward to a finished 5.29 tune when the time comes. Until them that poor SOB is more than busy and somehow still responding to this thread on his "day off" lol. Thanks again for the quick response @GoldenBrew

It doesn't hurt to reset the values, just remember that it may run a little weird for awhile as things settle in. How many miles do you have on the beta now?

I put 120 miles or so of the beta tune before I came to the conclusion that it wasn't quite the same as 1.05 (not referring to tip in specifically). Going to reflash and reset values and give it another go

Have you tried the "10867" w/ 87 octane? I am an 04B04 (2016 TRD Offroad, all factory stock) and found this is my favorite, keep going back to it after trying other tunes.

Hey Mat I'm happy to report that I flashed successfully. I updated the pcmflash through the Russian site and follow your directions and no issues. I no longer run pcmflash through flashmanager and have a separate icon on the desktop.

Thank you very much for the help.

On a side note, I was stuck on the stock tune for about 2 weeks and didn't realize how bad it was compared to the OVT. If I to live with the truck with the stock tune I would have traded it in.

I had issues with 10867/87. Half to three quarter throttle charges to speed (especially up hill) would result in getting stuck in third and not upshifting when I'd get to desired speed. I either had to hold the throttle too long at 4-6k rpm, or let off and lose speed until it released the gear. This was without ECT engaged. Ticket number 9221.
Other than that, it was good.

I know I’m late to the party but I was having this exact same issue a week ago. Plugged everything up, hit write. It sounded like the fuel pump engaged and immediately said unsuccessful. I had to step away and didn’t get back to it for about a week. I randomly tried it again yesterday and hit clear dtc and it loaded successfully. I have no clue what I did and didn’t do anything differently then the first time but it worked. I’m 04b04 too

I can reproduce this at will with both 19770 and 19800. Accelerate from low speed at 1/2 or a little more throttle, so that the 2-3 shift happens around 5000 rpm. Once at 60 mph, back off throttle to hold speed. Truck stays in 4, turning 3k or so. Only way to get it to upshift is to completely let off throttle for several seconds, or use S mode to force the upshift. Already reported this via ticket 10551.

I did via the website but never heard anything back. Also the tune I was having problems with was 19770. Not 19800

Looking at the website the only 19800 are for the pf5. Not pcm. I have a dongle. And it’s purple. Lol
