Not apples to apples I realize, but my experience with throttle response has always been the same on every version of the tune since a dedicated M/T version was introduced - it goes "mushy" as compared to when it's first flashed, every time.

So can someone tell what clearing the DTC and resetting the LV and AT does?

    DTC’s are diagnostic trouble codes.
LV’s are learned values for engine control like fuel trims, etc.
AT is learned values for auto transmissions.

Generally the LV’s and AT’s are reset only if your truck has issues.

Clearing the learned values is just that, clears the learned variables. Usually people don't clear them unless there is something quirky going on with a newly flashed tune. Doesn't hurt anything to clear them, but it will take some time for the tune to settle.

Ok that’s kinda what I figured! Thanks guys! I’m currently running 2.0 87octane 19800 and have noticed when I turn ect on sometimes it will lock in the gear and will not shift down no matter how hard the gas pedal is pushed. Is this normal?

    Honestly, nothing.
Truck feels perky for a few hundred of miles, then back to "normal"

Yes, 19800 is gearlock enabled so will not downshift with ECT on.

sortof stock. 6112/5160, pro wheels and a tune.
that’s what is supposed to do. it locks out the gear. now, if the rpm drops enough, it will downshift, which is a feature of it. i tested it out again today, it’s awesome on the highway. like driving my ‘17 that had a manual.

Normal for the tune you have flashed. 2.0 19800 is a gearlock tune. When you turn ECT on it activates gearlock in D and S mode.
