Good to know I'm gonna try this at my next service. I just drove from Austin, TX. to Seattle, WA. and while my '18 Taco V6 with AT did great the whole trip. I DO feel that with an OVTune or adjustment the lower gears would be much better. 2nd to 3rd is just silly. If it doesn't work it out I will go with an OVTune for sure.

I don't believe there was one. I've attached a pdf of the OVTune release page from the day of the 16012 release.

That explains why I dont have that file, it wasnt 4.88. Once i got on the 4.88 tunes, i have been unable to change back to non-4.88 tunes.

That is not the flash manager though. He is on the right version of PCMFlash, its the same version I have.

Also looks like his guardant drivers are installed since it actually launched.

@youngster77 do you have the folder with all your tune apps and files excluded from your AV and windows defender? And is your vehicle in the Accessory mode? Thats 2 presses of the start button without pressing the brakes.

edit: its 1 or 2 presses without brakes. It will tell you at the bottom of the screen in between the speedo and tach.

double edit: confirmed from @ihatemytruck "Ignition mode, not accessory......2 pushes of the start button with foot off the brake."

I just went from 1.05 87 performance to 2.0 19800/87 octane (04B04) and have noticed that the shifting became much more clunky with the 19800 tune. I should also mention that I reset LV/AT after flashing 19800

    anyone else experience this?

Shifting is garbage after you reset LV/AT for at least 1,000 miles

yikes, wish I had known that before. I just came across some posts that suggested to clear to start with a clean slate. My commute is short which means it'll take a while to rack up 1k...

sounds like road trip time this weekend!

What I notice after flashing and clearing values is longer shifts. This pretty much goes away after a couple of tanks. It will further refine for many more miles.

Vehicle was in accessory mode, 2 presses of start button without starting the truck. Windows defender is off. I'm on a new laptop because my previous one crashed so the only tuning files I have are the ones I recently downloaded.

Are you "dongle" or "no dongle"? If "no dongle" then you need to register your new computer with Mat. THIS is the beauty part of having a "dongle".
