OP has mentioned that fuel trims and such take 10-15 miles to learn upon initial flash. I highly doubt you can wreck it by writing the ECU a few times.

What does reverse flow mean?

 

Twin turbos

Intake is on the outside (where exhaust headers usually are) and the exhaust is in the center of the V (where the intake usually sits).

Audi / Mercedes do it

 

No one's going to twin turbo a truck... get that out of your mind

Cost will be a deterrent for many on this.

 

As are any modifications. If a repeatable ots solution is made people will do it. Folks spend 10s if thousands of dollars building Overland rigs this would find a market too.

 

Cost will be a deterent for most people on this tune...higher costs just means less people will do it...but it will be done if it's not stupid expensive....and even if it is, a few people with more $s than sense will. It's the nature of man (at least some of us).

i have 04B12, he has 04B10 (iirc)... mine runs like a top and he has a list of complaints, both on 1.02. he's back on 1.01b for now tho.

 

I can't see Lexus building a hot V turbo engine on the 3.5L. They would have to reengineer the intake and exhaust.

 

Butt dynos makes me feel like 1.01B is lighter off the line than 1.02B

seems google says it's the new 4.0TT that is "replacing" the M156. Aka the M176. Incredible motors. I'd say AMG makes some of the best, if not the best.
