0944 by far. 19800 growing on me - gets better mpg but lacks in the POWER category.

    I like 19700 91oct, but 19800 91oct ain’t bad. My truck feels heavy without the tip-in.

I need to try the aggressive tip-in 87 octane if it becomes available

19800 has been my favorite... still get the “dead pedal” sometimes but other than that I love it

So just drove to Chelan. 180 miles , 2 mountain passes.
2.0 19800 87 was phenomenal over the passes. Downshifted to 4th a few times to quickly pass In the mountains .
Truck stayed in 6th most of the time. Shifted appropriately.
    Plenty of power and perkiness.
Sorry for blurry picture, but this is the mpg I got driving through Cascades.

Just traded my Taco. Needed more room and towing capability. For the last week I have been running the stock tune so it would have some time to settle in before the dealership test drove it. I am so glad I spent the money on the tune! The dealership is a little over 100 miles away and I was cussing the whole way. Transmission stayed in 4th most of the time and shifted erratically. Thank you OVTune!

I have a 17 taco that I am trying to get the ECU updated so I can run all of the newer tunes. My truck has a 6" lift and 35's and because of that the dealer is giving me a hell of time touching the TSB's and is giving me a ton of pushback even if I pay when asked to update the ECU. I have given all of the justifications in the TSB's as to why it needs to be done but they tell me because of the lift and tires the won't do it. Anyone had a similar experience and was able to get the reluctant dealer to finally flash the damn ecu? Anything specific that they can't turn me away from even with the lift and tires?
I just got the OVtune so havent flashed any tunes on it yet, hoping to just start with some of the more recent tunes.
    BTW I'm on config 04B03

I’m fine with your first statement, but 04A60 still has NO 2.0. So some people are happier than others. Not complaining, but everyone should speak to there truck, tune, experience, not the forum as a whole. I’ve had no problems with OVTunes, just patiently waiting for the latest one!

Just got back from a 3k road trip with the kids. On the 91 19800 2.0 04B31. I got an average of 22.5 mpg the whole trip. Truck ran great. About to hit 20k on my 19 Pro and couldn’t be more happy with the truck. Wanted to trade it in for an 2020 Pro but they wanted a 12k difference in price. I guess I’ll just wait for the new Tacoma model to come out if that ever happens. Happy with the truck but like some of the new stuff on the 2020’s

it’s easy to do. Get the download and instructions from @tonered signature. A bunch of us have done it ourselves, it’s way easier than fighting with the dealer

The 19800 87 4.88 is my favorite one yet. Total different truck. Feel like I’m finally getting something out of the Regear.

Flagstaff Arizona. Kind of marooned with one dealer within a decent distance. I’m going to give it a go myself. Can’t hurt to figure that out so I can do it again if needed.
