Go straight to 19800 and don't look back. I do wish there was a no gear lock version but my truck on 04B04 91 octane runs great on this latest version. Other than the GL, which does me no good since it doesn't work with cruise control, I like everything else.

You wouldn’t be able to flash 1.03 now that you have the TSB anyways.

Isn't 1.05 still up on flash manager? Been a long time since I've checked, but it might be there. Been enjoying 19800.

Is 1.05.1 the most recent for 04A60?

I believe so, yes. If you want to try the 2.0 Beta, you need to have the TSB applied. Also, 1.05.1 is only needed if you are experiencing the stumble condition at low RPM. Otherwise, it's recommended that you use a 1.05 tune.

Why would you return to the shop to have the tune changed? You do it yourself, it's easy.

I’ve had a bit of stuttering on 87 performance 1.05.1

I have the Techstream cable but not the software. Applying the TSB might be my best bet.

With the package I'm getting from the shop it's $700 (Canadian) they do the tune and updates for life....should I want the capability to do the tunes myself it's $1250. Yes I could order it directly from OV but I'm looking at $1200 Canadian to do that.

I'm confused. So do you have the OVtune license, then they flash the tune to your truck with their cable?

Awesome. Thanks. I just gave him the go ahead with the 87 octane base. I will use this to break in the gears and when 2.0 comes out around xmas time with the 5:29 tune I will update it then.

I get zero hardware. As far as I understand I get nothing but the truck returned tuned as far as I am aware. I'll inquire with the shop when I pick up the truck Saturday. I can go to the shop anytime for a free update/change tunes etc I was told.

    What? in regards to what?

Handheld instructions? it's a day and a half. I did not think that if we post here publicly for everyone we need to also individually tell the same people who see our posts?

    Thank you.

Monday, not yesterday. And i purchased in August. I was told to email. So i did, didn't hear back for 2 days, so i asked again. Still nothing. So then i have to go and whine. I hate whining. But, now, all is good. Nov15 the info will be ready to go.
