I said the same thing - I have been following this thread for a few months now and finally pulled the trigger during this black friday sale (10% off)

 

it really does, I've tried every other one before and after and go right back to this one. The only way I'd change is if his new 2.0 performance
tune UPs the hp/torque numbers.

I drove on latest 87 octane tune for 2K and towards the end just got irritated by the tune's performance in city traffic. Falling on its face on 3rd and 4th, spooling up immediately after. Rinse and repeat
So I'm back to Stock. It handles city traffic better

 

I highly recommend running a tune with functional ECT. On my truck, there’s no way stock is better than the above configuration.

 

My only real gripe with 2.0 is that 3-4 shift, i've sent a ticket for it. but it improves so many other areas, i'm sticking with it.

 

2.0 beta build 0944 for 4.88 gears with 87 octane and functional ECT would be ideal until final 2.0.
Bring back ECT

 

Stop trying to add things to Mats plate. I do believe he already said 2.0 final will be available around Christmas. If issues still exist then we can make requests or suggestions.

 

I think the difference here for me is that I have 4.88's and that makes city drivng, even on e rated 34's, hella fun and responsive.

I cant wait for the final drop. Should be epic!

My truck is still stock and just a basic daily driver. I've had the tune for a year now and have been satisfied with all the different tunes I've tried.

I've said it before on this thread and have no doubt repeating this... this is the best $700 you will spend on your truck

 

Sliders and light bars on a Prius FTW!!! What size tires do you run?? Cmc needed?? Does the factory rack handle your dual RTT setup for the black Friday and beer release stakeouts???

I don't do much "city" driving to say one way or the other, the little bit I do its not an issue as described above. Under light to moderate throttle input it does want to get to the higher gears as it does in the stock tune. I tend to use the S third gear vice leaving it in D when driving around town and I'm in any sort of traffic.

 

You know from your original question, it does make you sound like that you wanted a Prius...
