Exact same thing happened to me a month ago. As Mat stated, turned out to be a winter critter seeking the warmth of my engine and made a quick meal of a harness. Drove it to the dealer in a quasi-limp mode, a quick diagnosis was made (they showed me the chewed harness) and $210 later I was up and running with no lasting effects. It happened at work so I've been parking in a less "mousey" area. So far, so good!

Anyone at high altitude use this tune? I live at 5500 ft and regularly drive up to 11000 ft. Will the tune adjust fueling for atmospheric pressure?

You’ll be fine. I’ve regularly been from sea level up to 11,000 feet and everywhere in between. Me and @Cav_BluTRD spent a week this summer between 10,000 and 12,600 and didn’t have any issues.

My truck’s “misfires” went from 30+ on a 5-10 min drive cycle to around 7 or 8 on a 20 min drive cycle when I went from sea level to 4500’. At the time I was on 105.

And I'm 100% sure it will 100% better! Glad you're taking the reigns Mat! This back and forth over the last couple years of who wants what has been crazy.

Is it better to call OVTune? Or just wait for a response to a help desk ticket. Pretty excited to purchase a license.

Just email zendesk. Usually replies are a day or two at most but may be slightly longer as he gets caught up from the holidays

Reference another case of fuel cut at WOT here. Interestingly enough, it's happening with 5:29's, but no OVTune.

Email please, and we will get you a license as soon as we can.
I actually had to change my phone number shortly after putting it up. I was getting calls all throughout the night, and was dumb enough to use my cell #. So, no phone number for now.

    Holy shit! That's insane.
Awesome, I responded to my initial inquiry in December with Rafael. Is that the preferred method or would you prefer a new zendesk ticket? Thanks again for the work you do, I'm pretty excited to get my tune installed.

With the 87 octane tune, have you tried running it with 85 octane?

Before people jump all over me for suggesting to use an octane value that is different than the tune version, I want to mention that I live at 6,300 ft, and almost never get below 5,000 ft. I've tried both 85 and 87 octane on the stock tune, and haven't noticed any difference at all. My flash kit hardware is in the mail as we speak, and I'd like to avoid doing anything that might damage my truck ('18 DCLB OR). 85 octane is way cheaper than 87, but that being said, 85 is still stupid expensive where I live ($3.19/gallon). If 85 will work with the 87 tune, then I'd rather buy 85 octane.

You must have excellent red blood cell count never coming below 5000 ft.

Me and a few others have been using 85 on the 87 tune in CO. I’ve done some data logging and everything has looked good.
