Shudder appears in very distinct conditions.
High load, low RPMs in high gears (5,6 and rarely in 4) with converter locked. Portion of my DD route was matching all the above and drove me nuts.
Speaking of piss poor execution by Toyota. I tell you that stock B04 ecu version is dealing with it flawlessly on the same DD route. All tunes versions had shudder until 19800, but I still could feel in some conditions

Not really as it is still less that the other Top Tier stations (add $0.55/gal right now) and about the same as it had been for the past few years.

No matter if it would increase or decrease cost, would I say that gas prices should be the same across the lower 48? Yep! Esp as there is market manipulation going on anyway. That is a much longer arguement though.

I wouldn't expect Mat to make any modifications to that, for liability reasons.

You dont drop the diff. Thats how you starve out the pinion on the differential. You just need the needle bearing at most. Diff drops are for over 3" of lift due to cv binding. 3" and unders dont need that junk. That shit causes more problems than it solves.

I am running the 4.88, 91 performance tune. I find it hunts on the highway but not as bad as it did stock.

I think once he gets that 5.29 out for you. you will be happy. But 35s are pretty harsh especially with added weight. 100x better than being stock though haha

Does anyone have the OVTune Dongle instructions? Does the dongle also need to wait on a key from OV?
