very interested in this as well. It’s what has kept me from pulling the trigger on the tune all together for the longest time. But I finally caved. Would be awesome to have it back. ACC is one of those things people either love it or hate it. I personally love it.

Gotta say I do enjoy it. First vehicle I've ever owned with the feature.

I’ve got it on my tundra. It makes long days of driving so much more relaxing.

Appreciate all the replies, I am new to this forum, I dont use adaptive cruise, dont like it personally. I guess I was hoping this would solve this issue , as I mentioned before u will wait for the full version before taking another route. I'm sure this is a good product and maf has been helpful especially in his condition

I'm surprised it didn't help your highway experience, it sure did mine. Tell us about your truck. Are you lifted with bigger tires? Do you have extra weight? Which tune did you load? What ECU version is your truck? Clear learned values, or no?

I have a 2020 TRD Sport crew cab long box. The only thing I changed from stock was added Duratracs no bigger , and a tonneau cover. I am currently 04B80 87 2.0 beta. Forgive my ignorance, but clearing the learned values ?

Yeah, the 2020 should have the adaptive cruise (ACC), radar cruise, whatever Toyota calls it. I don't think OVTune works with this yet. You can try turning it off, by long pressing the cruise button, then set cruise.
Learned values, there is an option on the flash tool to clear these, but I doubt that I'll fix your Cruise/highway issue. It clears what the computer has learned with your driving style etc. I think you will have to be patient and wait for the final release of 2.0 where OVTune says he will correct the code for use with ACC.

Do you need to have active internet while you are loading the codes in to your vehicle after the tune is downloaded?

Probably should go as far as getting off Wi-Fi while tuning to avoid possible interruption.

So if I ordered early Monday morning, how long should I expect to wait to receive my kit? My last 4hr drive through hilly terrain was ridiculous, so dropped the $$ for OVTune.

You should receive notification when it ships so you can track it. Usually a few days once it ships.

What speed are you setting your cruise control at on the hwy?

For me personally, the tune was not as dramatic of an improvement for the 2020 as previous year models.

I set it at either 100kph (60mph) or 114kph (70mph) depends where I'm heading, and that's NOT using the adaptive cruise.

Not knocking anyone at all about the cruise control usage but for me personally I don’t use it. I’d like to use it, but I just don’t like the cruise on the Tacoma and it sucked on my 2015 2nd gen also. Now I do use cruise all the time if I travel any lengthy distance in my altima and it works great. Toyota is great but I just don’t like the cruise so don’t use it. That said if they ever get cruise smoothed out I’d love to use the adaptive cruise on long trips.

I find that I get better mileage not using cruise control.

FWIW, I've had to update my OVTune Flash Manager software (Help/Update) each time I've flashed a code to enable PC5 Flash Utility, and I've never disconnected the wifi as a precaution while flashing. :notsure:
