Thanks folks! I have the software downloaded, email sent for reg key, and patiently waiting for the kit and key.

 

Downloaded the most recent Visual C++ Redistributable updates and I am still getting the same error listed above. Anybody have any ideas?

 

if you can't get it working, send us an email. you can skip flash manager and still register software the old fashioned way

 

I just loaded the 2.0 Beta on my 2019. I’ll report back this afternoon after my drive back home......

 

I finally got it to work. Had to run a repair on the Visual C++. Once it finally went through, I was able to open flash manager and register. Thanks!

 

I find that s5 is best for hills. The ovtune helps but it still not enough for big hill or windy area.

 

With you being in Florida and it being mostly flat you’ll definitely notice it.

 

I got my OBDII cable last night. My 2017 TRD OR was all the way back on 04b02. I wanted to use the 2.0 Beta, so I ended up using Techstream and installing the 04b04 calibration update myself. I was a bit terrified, but it went pretty smoothly and I got 2.0 beta loaded.

I haven't gotten a chance to really try it out beyond a short test drive last night and my commute to work, but I can definitely feel the difference. I'm looking forward to playing around with it a bit more later today.

 

@OVTune Any plans to release a beta version for ECU 04B23?

 

Do you have 04B23 ECU? we have seen only..2-3 trucks in the world with this ECU version so far.



Also, we have a test file ready for 5.29 owners that we will email to a few folks, should eliminate the 85-86mph limiter

 

Yes sir I've got 04B23 on a 2016

 

I have the Handheld tuner, my ECU required the TSB update so i updated from 04B01 to 04B04 then I flashed to the 91 performance tune. Fucking love it!
My question; Is it recommended to reset learned values or does updating the ECU do that automatically?

 

count me in on the 5.29 tune test, I actually replied to the email that I got my reg key about this exact topic and am willing to test and provide back data on it

 

It isn't required. OVTune recommends to clear only if you have issues.
I'd roll with what you've done.

Welcome and great 1st post. I bet you read a lot to do all that yourself without having to post any questions! You, sir, are the exception and not the rule in this thread. Bravo.
