I did not think you were trolling.

And ANYONE having issues that needs immediate attention please let me know. We will do everything in our power to help with whatever issue you're having. The best way is not to come on the forum and vaguely post about issues trying to hide who you are. Just talk to me, I'm a damn human.

It is not that important. I believe he can download the files, it's not the first issue I have had with AWS and part of the reason I want my own damn server.

@OVTune - Just for shits and gigles, and to put a lot of anxiety to rest, can you please share with us exactly which files you're putting up for download this week alongside the new version of Flash Manager?

I'd really just like to know whether or not to even care or continue following this particular episode. If the files are something other than new beta tunes, I think a lot of us could get back to enjoying our weekend without the refresh button. And, if they ARE new tune versions, then we could get even more excited about that and enjoy the anticipation... Please?

You do realize that all of these are developmental, and not final tunes right?

I think we should stop arguing. He has a valid concern. Some 2019 trucks DO experience an issue with the performance and gearlock versions of 1.05. We try to release stable versions on every ECU ID.
the 2019 trucks especially had issues right out of the gate from Toyota.
We are doing everything in our power to eliminate any possible issues with our next release.

I was thinking about OVTune yesterday driving up to Lake Tahoe and my truck shifting from 5th to 3rd and 3rd to 4th for a split second and then 5th while driving up in elevation. My wife "what's wrong with your truck", Me "Toyota trying to please the EPA"

I agree......it's just frustrating when guys like this come along talking all their BS. The rest of us know how hard you work, and that anytime anyone has had a problem, you have helped get it straightened out.

I managed to find what I think you're referring to. Posted nine days ago:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...lopment-thread.495735/page-2773#post-22487948

One suggestion. Maybe add a link to that in your signature here? Something like:

"Latest OVTune Software Info/Plans Post, Updated 1/16/2020: CLICK HERE"

And then just update that signature link whenever similar summary updates are posted? Just a thought.

I also think you should definitely create a fresh thread for every major release -- like every other piece of software in existence -- but that's another story...

You want to know what's frustrating? Your truck losing all power suddenly on an on ramp with a line of cars accelerating up to highway speeds right behind you. If you think that's BS I have a tune and a highway I'd like to put you on.

The issue is moot now. Tunes are removed and you can go back to your tounge bathing.

My $.02, and only worth that, if it were my business I would:
    • Abandon this thread, let the trolls have their playground, no @OVTune participation
    • Set up a new, locked thread that only @OVTune posts in and/or @OVTune communicates only via his website/blog
    • Force all support requests through zendesk ...if someone wants others to do something one way but there is another, potentially easier avenue to do the thing, then human nature dictates that people will probably choose the easier route

Thanks! This thread went through so many different tangents that I forgot what was proposed with the new changes. Keep up the good work Mat. I know you have a lot of irons in the fire these days!
