I was referring to the OVTune instructions. I don't doubt that just letting it idle is in fact the idle learning process. I just didn't find it necessary.

At this time my truck is stock (engine) and from reading the info on the web site, for 87 gas "PERFORMANCE" tune does not improve much. At the beginning I used once in a while 91 gas and alternated between 87and 89 gas. For the last year I used only Chevron 87 gas. What tune will it give me better performance with 87 gas? How will tune 2.0 be different from 1.5 tune now?

Cool. I’d much rather install a turbo than gears. I never thought I’d have to prioritize these two options.

Super excited for the upcoming 2.0 5.29 tunes.

My cable is out for delivery today. Excited to fire up the 4.88 beta tune in the meantime while we wait for 2.0.

    My truck is WOKE!

    Background...

    2018 SR5 4X4 AT
    A little extra weight:
Roof rack with recovery box and awning
    Steel rear Bumper
Decked drawers full of tools and gear
    Sliders
    33" KM3 Tires

It can be viewed as is in my signature link.

    Applied sid_04A61_1.05.1_87_Performance

I chose a destination about 100 Miles away...went to REI to pick up some Revel Gear USB LED lights for the awning.

Instantly I noticed the pep and throttle response. In the 1st 200 miles the mileage reporting was as usual, it just feels like, as others have said...what it should have been from factory. I should have done this sooner. Time will give me a better basis for review, but first impression is amazing.
