I pulled the trigger on the OV tune last week and received my registration code today. I have a 2019 AT and was instructed to use the 2.0 beta tunes for my truck. I get to the step of selecting the tune that I want and when I select the Stock Exhaust: 2.0+EROM+87 tune in the "tune version" drop down, the "octane" and "options" drop downs do not have any options. They are blank and do not drop down. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong or what I'm missing?
    Thanks!

that option is currently only a place holder for the final 2.0 tune. As stated above, you download the Beta 2.0 from their website for now until the final is out

Yep I bounce back and forth between tundra/tacoma. And finally wrapped up the dyno on the 4.6 today.
    Took forever.
    Now bouncing back to tacoma

Vlady : I have downloaded the tune from the weblink provided in the email from Matt with the Reg code and that doesn't seem to be it. I have placed the file in the "tunes" folder hoping that would work. Still no luck.

Edit - I figured it out. I'm an idiot. Thanks for you assistance.

Thanks for your hard work. I really like the current gen Tundra and if I get one, the first thing I do is get it OVtuned.

However, the new gen looks promising, though I will wait a year or two if I jump on the new gen so they can work out the bugs.

Looks like you guy's are bored, so here's a couple of Question's :

    1. Am I correct in saying it takes a few hundred miles after flashing the first time to feel the effects of the tune ? If so why would someone flash back to stock then back to a Tune, Would it still take a couple hundred miles for the re-tune to kick back in ? I don't see why someone would want to go threw all that crappy trans shifting all over again.

    2. What is the best way to get the truck to accept the new tune, Highway or city ?

    3. In D or S shifting ?
4.. I used to use ECT all the time, Once the tune kicks in do I only use it when towing or daily ?
    Thanks

    1. You don’t need to flash back to stock. Just run a tank or two of gas per tune until you find the one you like.

    2. All

    3. D and S

    4. The tune is active after a successful flash. ECT is currently gearlock in “S” mode only

#1: most people feel an immediate effect.
It does take a few tanks to smooth out.

When I first bought my tacoma it shifted horrible. The delay between shift was incredibly long I could hit the throttle between shifts, gear hunting, all the same symptoms that everyone else seemd to have.
It was so bad I was ready to trade the truck in. Then I got ovtuned. 2.0 beta was just about to be released so I flashed 1.5 performance first. First impression was amazing! Fast shifts, increase in mileage, no gear hunting. But the throttle tip in had me cringing everytime I would even think about accelerating. Stop and go traffic was torture. Then flashed 2.0 beta. Wow seemed to smooth everything out, except for when you get up to 5800 rpm and the truck cuts the fuel off before it's ready to shift falling on it as face. Then 19770 tune and back to crazy tip in, then 19800 smoothed the tip in back out again. The beta tune has been amazing except for the 5700 rpm dead spot. So the reason back to stock was to just restart all this all over... clear everything.... back to stock to see and remember and appreciate the ovtune all over again. But.. stock flash seems to drive completely different then when I bought the truck. Like when I bought it toyota did torture tests with it and it learned some wacky behavior. Then I got it and it didnt know how to behave. Stock flash from ovtune is pretty smooth. Calm, no where near as bad gear hunting. And let's the rpms come up higher with a throater exhaust note with the trd exhaust instead of shifting as soon as possible never getting the exhaust note to resonate. So.. honestly worse gas mileage but throatier exhaust or smooth fast shifting super low rpm, quiet, alittle better gas mileage but with a massive dead spot at redline beta tune..... cant go to 1.5 performance with the crazy tip in. Its brutal. So lack of options?? Always running 91 octane... any ideas?

04b31. Well the question was why flash back to stock. So stock seems to be the best tune.
Performance 91 = super fun but crazy tip in
2.0 beta = 5.5k rpm fall flat on face (scary and dangerous)
Stock = worse gas mileage (just going off computer) have not manually verified. But TRD pro exhaust turns heads everywhere. Sounds pretty sweet. IMO I will take worse mileage for the sound improvement.

Ovtune shift truck so soon to be efficent. More power and acceleration without downshifting. But obviously since the rpms are so low. Quiet

I'll let some 04b31 guys verify this, but I thought there were updated 2.0 files recently???? How long ago did you download your files?

I had the original 2.0 beta then 19770 then 19800. Matt updated the tune but never addressed the cut off witch makes that tune dangerously flawed for 04b31 users. Matt says in 2.0 final will be fixed. So currently what tune to run?
