    I take it the no news about HHs update for +2019 trucks means nothing yet avail to make them functional :confused:

    to make sure I'm understanding this correctly, you have written the optimal tune for stock gears and tires, then have the ability to add in other gear ratios and tire sizes to correct to the stock shift tune???

    if this is correct, is this done on your end via "custom tuning" or is it gonna be on the user via your tuning product?

    @OVTune . . .

    The Germe Labs RFCC Rear/Front Camera Controller uses the steering wheel "Mode" and "Up/down" buttons to control its operating modes.
    I haven't ever seen exactly how the OVTune update will handle Gearlock switching. Hopefully, the camera controller and OVTune will play nice together? :fingerscrossed:

    Is this a departure from
    D = Base
    ECT = Performance
    Sport = Gear lock

    I’m not sure it’s been finalized / announced. Just different options that had been discussed as possibilities being researched.

    And that's why I asked the question. Mat will tell us how it works when the time is right.
    But if it may conflict with this Germe Labs device... it would be nice to know before I buy the Germe device.

    I think there was stuff posted here since New Years about both AT and MT. It was definitely said that the MT still needed a solution. @lapoltba posted about the CC stalk, but I don't think there was a reply.

    I went back through all the posts from Mat, didn't see anything.

    The issue with using the CC right now is I've not found a way to save your selection after you shut off the truck.

    So imagine you have 3 maps, and switch to "93 map 2"

    You'd have to do that every time you start the truck.

    I'm assuming Mat is looking at alternatives, but as far as I can tell, it is the only thing that goes into the ECU that would be available on the majority of trucks.

    And what he said... Lol ^^^

    There must be nonvolatile storage somewhere, the trick is figuring out how to access it I suppose.

    How much access do you have to the Gauge Cluster software like you did with the boost Gauge for the Tundra. Maybe add a screen there to be able to at least show which tune is active? Even if it isn't persistent it will be obvious. Not good if switching octane tunes though.

    I am totally down with that as long as the default can be our 'preferred' tune. Such as FOB for me.

    Is that a problem in the file creation for you / flashing for us?

    Mat, is there any way you can allow users to enter tire size for shift points? Or, is there a setting in the system that can be read?

    Pretty sure those buttons only interface with the headunit, not the ecu. I have the same device in my truck as do many others.

    Mat, this is great news. Will tire size be a selectable variable in FM or will it require OVT to email files?
