It'd be neat to see the pathing now, vs the convoluted one you shared before that really illustrated what a giant mess the programming was.

I don't want to get too detailed on the stock path. Figuring it out is hard, and I suspect there will be competitors in this market before long.

    But here is our path.
This table is designed, coded, and created exclusively by us. Doesn't exist in this size, form, etc in the stock ECU.
every condition, every look up, all code sections.

We had something similar to this in the past, but missed certain conditions in the code which would look up different tables.
    That's eliminated.

    Simplicity!

I'd say Tab A into Slot B, but @Tacoma816 might get excited.

A lot of simplification being done, redundancy removal and eliminating some of the sections that do all the table swapping.

here is our single Throttle angle limit (base) table. No more throttle angle lim by gears.
No more "tip in is xyz" from you guys.
This table is 100x in size. and covers every possible location your foot could be in on the gas pedal.

For reference stock table is 16x in size.

I don't want to hear about "tip-in" ever again lol

    Oh yes!

So, if we go WOT at say 2,000rpm, the ECU is not going to limit torque artificially? If so, I might get excited.

Your larger tables can be felt in 1.05 versus the TSB tune. I cannot wait to feel what the big tables feel like.

    Thanks!

Who doesn't love to feel big tables!?

I don't know what half the shit in this thread means but I'm excited for the full 2.0 release.

    :rofl::rofl:

I think it was on the 1.05 blog post? It was shown where the stock tune table was this little MoFo and didn't cover the bottom 20%, or something like that.

With the simplicity and many more data points, this is going to be smooooooth. Smooth like, well . . .

I remember posting this before, but anyway here it is again.
for example here is a Thx limit on one of the gears.

    16% gas pedal = 3% throttle add

    stocktx.jpg

Yes, that table + about ...15 more

A lot of us don't want to hear that either!

I did have an issue there once, but it was fixed by the Resets in FM.

This seems too smooth and predictable. It’s gonna take a while to unlearn the last 4 years of coping with unpredictability lol

True that! Although, I do remember saying after the first OVT flash that it was the first time (in only 16k, LoL!) that I didn't have to consciously think about the position of the throttle.

It seems like 2.0 is going to be beyond next level.

Wondering if there's anybody in my neck of the woods that would help me install this? I'm not a computer guy, but I understand this could be a great addition to my Taco.
