Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

As long as the version you’re using works properly that’s good. There may be some confusion with 1.3.5 vs 1.3.0 as the latest (newest) version of FM config is 1.3.0, released Nov 2019.

Yup, mine does not look like that. I even wiped all the OV software, reinstalled with no AV, updated, and it doesn't look like that

 

Update again.
(purge local ) then Help > update

this version looks wrong

 

^^ That’s a previous version of FM. In the latest version (1.3.0, Nov 2019) the dongle option has been moved to a menu

Purging local dropped it back to 1.2.
Then updated back to 1.3.5
Please note I do not have the dongle kit, I have the P5Flash kit as it is only about 2ish weeks old.
I was just showing that it had the drop down option earlier.

Making progress. Thanks for the help. I uninstalled the OV apps and reinstalled from the above link. I purged the local data and installed new software. Thanks again. I now have software ver. 1.3.0, config ver. 1.3.0 and flash tool 1.3.1!

Should I be able to download the files from flash manager or do I need to go get them from another page? I feel like a knucklehead.

 

If you have an auto they aren't up yet. If you have a manual download away.

Yes I was aware of that, was just trying to stay current with the flash manager in preps for the 2.0 AT
Glad I did because apparently I was way out of date and needed to do an uninstall and re-install to get the correct version.

 

We’re just getting prepared for when the AT files do appear on FM ...

 

I really hope somebody gets this latest tune that tows regularly and posts their results.
