The throttle is adjusted in 2.0. it’s much more linear and predictable now.

Here is what came out for the 2.0 MT's, which is bad ass.
(I imagine 2.0 for AT's will be even better, with AT's map switching options)

    Available File Versions:
    2.0 Regular Octane Learning
This is the base version 2.0, for regular fuel 85 to 89 octane
    2.0 Premium Octane Learning
This is the premium version of the base tune 90 to 94 octane
2.0 Super FOB Regular Octane Learning
This is the PERFORMANCE version, Super FOB (Full Otto Base) version. Maximum performance, Maximum Response, for 85 to 89 octane
2.0 Super FOB Premium Octane Learning
This is the premium version Super FOB (Full Otto Base) version. Maximum performance, Maximum Response, for 90 to 94 octane
    - Dump Tube versions of each
These versions are ONLY for our customers who have our catted or uncatted dump tubes.
BOTH version dump tubes use the same tune

    2.0 Final...
For those of you that have not already done so, read all of this and think how much better it could be with AT's map switching options. It is a short read and is very straight forward.

More good 2.0 info here from the MT's (some BS mixed in, so speed read thru though).

FWD vs RWD drivetrain parasitic loss? Chonky wheels and tires? Enough diffrence that isn't accounted by the extra rotating mass?

I'd be interested in hearing about this from Mat directly, seems pretty interesting, but I'm sure he has a lot of more important stuff on his plate at the moment.

Your describing something like Pedal Commander. The problem with pedal commander is that these trucks apparently use more than just the position of the gas pedal to tell the engine how much to open the throttle. There were some good explanations by Matt about it in the last few months and maybe someone can dig up the post that explains it better than my non technical butt could.

I don't control the reg keys, that is an outside developer.
Second, if you order during the a big sale, there is going to be shipping delays. We are a small company and had 250+ orders just in February.
I've tuned over 4000 of these trucks, and always when we have a sale the demand goes through the roof.

Honestly I would love to see somebody pull the engines, throw them on engine dynos to compare, and post the video on youtube. You know, for science.

Edit, I think what I actually want is a millionaire that makes videos like this on YouTube as a full time job.

I got hit with the Brake Override Malfunction. OVTuned was fast to respond on the weekend. Was going 75mph and it went limp and dropped to 15mph with a tractor trailer right up on me. Let Jesus take the wheel. Hoped for a quick death or new bumper.

    Noob question.
Is there any way to flash the ECU for the motor tune and leave the transmission stock (automatic)? I flashed the 91 tune (93 not available for my truck yet) and I like the way it runs but it shifts horrible under hard acceleration.
