I'm rooting for you guys and the AT to be as awesome as I hope it can be, the new engine map alone is just wow. Honest to crap where it would have taken me half throttle and minimal mph gain to climb a fairly decent hill, I did it 20 minutes ago and no joke...maybe 1/4 throttle and went from 60 to 65 mph and actually backed off.

I think the thread will go silent for about a day before people start to flip shit because they can’t flash the tune because they’re trying to flash the wrong ECU or something

there will definitely be some guy who flashed each tune and drove 2 miles and did an LV reset and complains about how their truck runs like crap.

25+ years of dealing with software development in online forums tells me otherwise, but it is what it is. Agree to disagree.

For obvious reasons, I hope they at least change the thread title...

I get it, I feel like you need a dedicated forum for that to really work. Then you can have locked stickies for the various revisions and 100000 help I can't read directions threads

So happy to jump in on this on page 2914. I am still wondering if anyone has tried the Shiftpro on a 2019-2020. From researching the threads, it seems like the big need for Shiftpro and Ovtune where generally taken care of by an manufacturer TSB in 2018.

Feel free to roast me now for my ignorance.

A dedicated "Tuning Software" subforum with stickies for each of the available software tools and tune versions? Now there's an idea!

I guess the only problem is that there is still only one vendor with a viable tune, so it's tough to justify a dedicated software sub. Oh well... #firstworldproblems

This thread has had a constant 50+ people in it at all times since 2.0 for the MT dropped. That's pretty awesome.

As we bicker on this nearly 3000 page thread, know that some bright eyed newbie started a new OVT thread about 1, maybe 2 years ago. It DIDN'T go anywhere.

Probably too soon to even ask but maybe some have some insight based on prev experience/MT tune into which 2.0 tune would be best for performance and MPG (if that is possible or is it one or the other). I know it is really objective but what do most plan on flashing? Cheers

I'm curious as well about performance/mpg between the two files. I defaulted to the super FOB regular file first, going to burn a tank of fuel and try the premium super FOB and see if there's any difference to be felt via "seat of the pants".

This little gem decided to arrive in the mail today (Tax sale purchase in Feb). Super excited, just waiting on 2.0 to drop. I'm only 65,000 miles (October 2015 model) in with a leaky 3rd brake light, a tailgate that falls off, and waiting on spark plugs to ship in but ready for this more than anything. Better late than never right?

Oh, and this works alright via Parallels Win 10 on macOS right? I've got my VM spun up and Device Manager does see the OpenPort flash tool, so I'm hoping it goes smoothly, otherwise I'll use a spare PC if I have to. I'll update later if I have trouble but it seems like it'll work in theory.

No clue about Parallels. If you havent yet get your computer registration part done ASAP. Mine took 2 weeks to get back and its needed to install the tune.
