I agree what is going on with 2.0? This is not sounding good for those who have been patient since the beginning of this thread.

How do you think those of us that don't even have a 19 feel?

    I don't have issues on 1.05...
I technically paid money just so that I don't have to deal with Toyota's minivan transmission.

Own a 2019 and the tune not so cherry?
Then all the more reason for OVTune to hold back the tune before you torch and pitchfork his house.
Imagine if he did release 2.0, and your 2019 ends up limping.
Those tears would be saltier than the dead sea.

It is not Matt's fault that Toyota thought that 2019 was a good year to experiment.

Easy there killer. Try sending Mat an email. I know he’s been busy so it may not get an instant response but I can’t imagine him being unwilling to work with you.

Like I said, I do understand. Not mad at you. You are certainly making the right call.

As far switching trucks, as referenced below.... 6mt taco is an option, at this point, whether she likes it or not.

I am officially shopping around. Not in a major rush though.... pulled the Charger out of storage, it is getting detailed, and probably a new set of rims to go with the new tires

The last official tune was 1.05. That's the tune everyone paid for and that's the one that has been delivered...

    This.

For the people saying that all there is available is a beta, you are mistaken. 1.05 was released as a final and iirc, Mat even said at one point that he could drop 2.0 progress and leave it at 1.05 but with everything he'd discovered he's elected to keep taking tune progress further.

Long story short, if you have access to 1.05, you have access to a full tune.

No offense but 1.05 feels like shit. I'd rather just turn on the ECT.

Totally true, and I am/was very happy with 1.05

I do understand the position 2019 owners area in (to an extent). Having experienced the brake override and subsequently been told to only run the beta, there truly is only a beta tune available for the 2019s. That said, it's pretty damn good but it's a "beta" which apparently is a mental hurdle some 2019 owners cant get over.

Personal opinion, I feel sorry that everyone else can't experience 2.0 final because of 2019 weirdness. Hopefully mat can figure it out soon.

2019 whiners, STFU and be happy you can run the beta. If you bought the package "months ago" and didn't do your research you have no ground to stand on with your bitching.

I experienced bogging, hesitations and delay when I ran that tune.

I empathize for sure, I wasn't trying to shit on people not getting 2.0Final, only wanted to correct people saying there's no complete and non-beta tune available

I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for BOTH Mat and customers. People who are upset, please keep that in mind. After watching Mat's development since 2017, I doubt 100% that he doesn't feel upset and frustrated over this. He doesn't WANT to deprive anyone of the tune.

MT FTW I guess lol :notsure:

I am quite jelly of the MT folks right now! I wish Toyota had out a manual in DCLB trucks, or at least the off road!

If the brake override malfunction for 2019s is fixed in the beta, why would it happen in 2.0?

Do we know if the '20s have the same issues as the 19s? Are there very many 20s with the tune?

I'm not sure the cause is fully understood. There are other issues Mat mentioned too, like fuel pump recalls, etc

Didn’t Mat say for 2019s not to run 1.05 due to issues? I think the Beta is the only tune that Mat says you can run on the 2019.
From what I remember, Mat just made that announcement a month or so ago. That was months after 2.0 was supposed to drop.
I think this is what’s making the 2019 guys a little more frustrated. They can only use the Beta, which is not much of a tune at all.
