    thanks i'll look into it

I have considered this, and it's still on the table. (buying a tacoma). With everything that has been done so far we're only at just over 100 days from when we first put a truck on a dyno and had no tune at all.

    D mode shifting and ECT

I can say with 1.02c version A 87 that it is a very refined driving truck. I'll never get this thing to feel like the RX350 because the gearing is way different. However, the Tacoma's mannerisms on the road have greatly improved. This is with about 50 miles and 3 ignition cycles in so far.

How easy would it be to flip D mode and ECT mode in the tune?

to avoid doing ECT mode on all the time mod.

No doubt - when I first saw this coming together, I was certain it would be 6 months before anything would be ready to sell publicly. I do think that's the piece all have to remember - the demand was higher than expected (and has only begun), dev has moved very quickly - esp. considering the newness of the ECU and all the weird learning components you've had to untangle. Leasing or buying (then resell within a few months for a ~$5k "loss") I'm sure will help further refine things and all in due time. You've done a ton for these trucks in a short timespan! Thanks for your work on this - hopefully you're feeling better from the sickness that had you down last week!

No doubt, you've made fantastic progress and that's to be commended...I could just see this getting crazy popular for you and trying to manage all the customers, files, updates, etc...I would personally be overwhelmed and would want to do as few of updates/revisions as possible for sanity's sake.

This is something I’m watching really closely. I ran 1.02C Beta (Mat was kind enough to let me test it) and had some really hard TC engagements downshifting. Hoping it’s much better in the final release. What size tires are you running?

Stock size, just slightly heavier A/T3W's instead of the goodyears...that's the only mechanical change I've made. (if you could even call it that lol)

    It's a good point...

And probably worth pointing out we are still on the "Innovators" side of the technology adoption curve (as important to remind myself as anyone else.... those who have ridden the "bleeding edge" on stuff before should be familiar with these hiccups).

I have been working on a system with a server where people can log in and download everything specific for their car. It's a work in progress.

With the exception of filtering some emails and handling some of the redundant stuff, I do all of this stuff. So I'm a little slower than a big company.

So I received "04B03 Tune Update 1.02 91 Octane" on Sept 9th, but I've been unable to install it due to my busy schedule.

Now that I have some free time, I want to make sure this is the most current version. Should I go ahead and install this?

    Not the most current.

You can install but you’ll be receiving a newer version soon.

that is not. The most recent is 1.02C with shift updates (3 options which you can select from)
I recommend starting with Shift setting C.

I have not sent out all updated files to 04B03 users yet

He still has work to do gents...

Let's not drown out important posts with stuff like early reviews and questions from people who haven't bought the tune yet... there's plenty of time for that.
