What changes have been made in the most recent beta release vs. 19800 for the 2019s?

I too would be interested in what has changed in the latest 2019 beta. Is this recommended if we are already on 2.0 beta or just hold off until final is released for 2019s?

Just went for a 20 mile drive. It’s much better than the previous 2.0 beta already but there are a few things that seemed to carry over. Feedback via zendesk? I’ll go for another drive tomorrow and get some more miles.

Like the guys above me, it would be great to get some more details on this flash.

    Changes are >
    update to shifting for 2019s
update to throttle control from 2019s, All gears + global fuel to torque calculation limit
update to ignition (reg, prem) OLE
update for 3> 4 shift specifically
    update for gears
and all other things that were in other betas (19800, etc)
    vvt, etc

    There is no gearlock

zendesk or here, however please be sure to put more than 10-20-50 miles on it first.

Is this the single table shift map that has been discussed for 2.0 final?

I see two versions reg and prem, gonna fire up the premium as I have 91 octane, however I see OLE stated. does this tune have octane learning? Or is reg/prem in regards to a more base tune/performance tune? Thanks Matt. Can't wait to try it out and get you some feedback.

Awesome! Does the tune function when radar cruise control is active?

The 5.29 tune is way better than the previous 2.0 for stock gears or 4.88 gears. It still revs up hard and hiccups one one of the gear changes but only at WOT. The “short shift” is gone. The speed limiter is gone but the truck is getting tired at only a couple MPH higher than the old limiter anyway.

All in all, great work, I’ll hopefully be able to put some more miles on it through the week and submit some zen desk feedback. Is there anything you are looking for in particular?

    Alrighty good night everyone.
Any issues, feedback, etc. Let me know.

to be clear.... if your ECU version is not 04B30, or 04B31, or you are not a Manual transmission... "2.0" in flash manager won't work for you.

You're still getting the hiccup where it hits the limiter and not shifts ?? this should not be happening anymore

It doesn’t hold against the limiter anymore. It shifts but seems like it drops down to too low an rpm or there is a brief fuel/ignition cut.

@OVTune Any update for the OFT users? I emailed zendesk, just waiting for the files as patiently as I possibly can.

THE NEW TUNE. I have a 2019 04B31 AT. Regular fuel
Not on the fuel pump recall list.

Just went for a 20 mile run both ways on my main highway. I live in north GA lot of hills and mountains. I Use Ect all the time here so will use it the same with the new flash.

Throttle- tip in feels the same. When I let off throttle then back on throttle torque feels right there. Love that! While going up hills I don’t have to push throttle hardly at all like before to maintain speed. Love that!

Torque- definitely can feel more torque threw all gears. Love that!

Shifting- all I can say is you have unhandcuffed my truck. It now shifts up and down hills like it should. Finally feels like a truck. Before it felt like driving a turd. Before if I coasted down a hill then going back up my truck had no power would not shift right I would fall behind the car ahead unless I pushed petal half or more to floor then would kick down to many gears. NO LONGER DOES THAT! Love that! It was even worse stock! If anything now I am keeping up with traffic and even having to lay off petal to not run into back of them. So I think my fuel mileage should go up?

ERRORS- I have no dash lights or errors. Everything looks great.

I will be back in truck tomorrow to log some more time. This has been another great leap in making our trucks drive RIGHT. I will add more comments when I get more seat time. I am sure I am leaving some stuff out.
    Thank you so much.

I see on facebook some folks having issue DLing via FM and I am as well. Grabbed latest FM (1.3.0) purged local, installed all software etc and still error trying to DL 2019 beta. Is there a direct link for the 91 octane updated beta?

Got mine loaded up. Just ran a quick test drive. Everything ran great will post more of a review when I log more miles but first impressions are all positive.

Curious about radar cruise if this tune has any effect on it at all. First use didn’t seem like it but would be nice to know. Great work Matt!
