Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I am not answering anything development related. vF Related, etc on this thread anymore.

 

So does anyone else read this as there will be no 2.0 final released? We are now waiting on vF Tune?

@TacoTime850, HOW IN THE HELL, DID YOU COME UP WITH THAT ASSUMPTION? Matt has said all along, a final 2.0 will be available when he has time to finish the codes, and testing. CHILL!

Sorry Mat, i am guessing with the latest round of announced changes, and the subsequent questions, and answering, and ungrateful people on here, has weighed on your mind, and sped the process, on "being done" with flash tuning for our group. it is a thankless task, and you have been on a long journey. not only very time consuming but, your resources, family, and spare time/hobbies take the hit too. i know you hear what appears to be a lot of negative comments on the tune but, i for one am VERY GRATEFUL, to have you in my corner. you need to hear you are doing good, more than you do. my hat is off to you! keep your chin up, some of us really appreciate your time and patience with this tune/motor/platform, and know you have more than the tacoma to deal with. Damn, someone’s having a bad day. My bad Mat. I read it the way it was written. I didn’t think that was the case, that’s why I was asking other people what they thought. I read it several times. That’s the way I interpreted it.
I was in no way being negative or bashing you

 

Coranavirus has people stressed to the max.

 

And you probably wonder why sales went down prior to the virus.....and the post I quoted above where you said in 2019 you would have several tunes (you give many examples) is no where near what you are now saying.

 

Health issues, employment issues, financial issues, concern for loved ones. Bad times. You nailed it.

 

@TacoTime850 Matt has stated several and I mean several times that 2.0 is coming without question.

Folks need to keep up with this thread before they post questions to Matt as 99.9% of the time the question has already been addressed multiple times by @OVTune

 

With all the stress everyone has, go ahead, keep piling because it is all about YOU!

 

Matt/@OVTune has stated a couple of times now for no more dev questions here on this form. If you have a question wrt to assisting with testing, put it thru the proper zenhub process and Matt will respond if he needs more testing.

Unclear why this is so difficult for folks to understand.

1. custom, individual tuning of every truck we tuned is impossible.
2. Preset tunes with various options (Gears, tires, etc) would be available


That is somehow different than this?

This answer is why I and maybe others have or remember things differently .
This statement to me means
1 - only the 2019 and 2020 trucks have a 2.0 Beta tune.
2 = One can only think there was never a 2.0 Beta for 2016-18 trucks or that the 2.0 final has been released for the 2016-18 trucks .
Not trying to be a smart ass but it is confusuing to anyone new here .
