Thanks. I very rarely curse, online or not. I'm not lashing out at anyone specifically or everyone. This community (all tacoma owners. Not this forum) is, still overall the best I've worked with.
But that doesn't come without some frustrations, and this forum, trolls, etc...it can add up.

Maybe it is, but I don't think it is absurd to let people know why, or the process of how things happen behind the scenes when it affects what they order or expect.

I shipped out remaining handhelds yesterday. We aren't selling more.

    Cool just now saw #15.

I guess I wasn't clear above that I have an open order for a handheld... but that still leaves me with a $600 handheld order from January 29th. One I've been told multiple times by yourself would be fulfilled.

Can I please just get a straight answer? Should I get my money back for order #5817? I am not looking to convert my order to a flash kit, etc. at this time.

I’m just posting to say I bought my truck in January 2017, upgrading from a 2003 DCSB TRDOR that I put 275,000 miles on and what many consider the greatest Tacoma ever . My old Tacoma was a great truck, but it was not perfect by any means and shared a lot of the same things people complain about on the 3rdgen.

Once I got the new truck, I drove it happily a year with it’s quirks before I got updated to the 04B04 tune with the TSB. Then I drove it 2 more years even happier. At the end of Feb 2020 I bought an OV flash kit during the tax sale. Last week at just over 70,000 miles on the ODO I flashed the 19800 2.0 Beta and have 100 miles on it. So far I’m really enjoying the tune. Thanks Mat @OVTune for making something that has improved my truck. Looking forward to the 2.0 full tune and updating to vF to continue tweaking things in the future. Hoping to get 300,000 miles out of this Tacoma.

You either need a thread where only you can post, or you should just reply to every question with a link to post #1. For all our sakes. The silent majority is waiting patiently for your awesome final product. Take all the time that you need, especially under the circumstances. I love almost everything about my truck but nearly sold it before getting 1.04. The product you provide is the single best thing out there for 3G Tacos. Some people just want what they want and they want it now. You do you in your own good time, Matt, and please take care of yourself and your family first.

I apologize to you dudes and Mat for being an a-hole earlier today. No excuse for behaving that way. I was being a little whiner. I'm sorry, Mat.

It appears that people are just trolling a legit product support and information thread now because they have way too much time on their hands. Go outside! You'll be okay!

Man yall a bunch of nit picking jackasses who cant read. Ima 17 04b04 with a handheld..been reading up on this every other day. I'm in no way confused on what mat is explaining..I'm not sure why so many of you hoonies are pushy. I've been daily driving 2.0 base and 2.0 performance 91 octane and it's amazing. Releasing of 2.0 final will be well worth the wait but I dont see why so many of you arent already happy with the tunes available. I mean if its that big of deal. Go back to stock and shut up . #Canadian.
Take her easy mat. #tacomaworld is just getting edgy.

I can't believe how much interaction you have with this forum. (not complaining) Any other business owner would never do what you are doing. I'd like to thank you for putting up with everything that is said and still come back for more. You must be mentally exhausted, I would have told everyone to pound sand a long time ago.

Some people have never been told no......and it shows. I like the weekly update idea made by someone earlier, try not to fog your head up in this murky thread Mat. I bought my tune only thinking 1.05 was it and i was pleased, then 2.0 came along and its been the best mod my truck could have gotten. Most everyone here bought ovtune as the 1.05 being the only file known to be available, 2.0 is like a bonus tune...i got tunes from lund racing and i knew sure as shit that i wasnt getting any extra free files ( and that car ran meh at best on the files i did get ). We all need a good ol campfire woosahhhh session....getting tense.

Speaking only for myself, you hit a homerun with things. I hated the stock tune so very very VERY much. Damned thing drove like a box truck with a turbo four-banger. Now, it drives 95% of how I would ideally expect it to drive. I'm hopeful based on the feedback for 2.0 that it will drive basically 100% how I want my truck to drive.

Then, the option to trade in the dongles, AND get a deal on the new software, Party on Wayne. Party on Garth!!

Now, if I'd just get off my rear and get the TSB done so I can enjoy those tasty beta tunes . . .

Wow, this thread moves fast.. I don't come in here much because of all the back and forth.. I'm grateful for what Mat has done for this community, and have been happy with my good old 1.05 93 base. First and only tune I loaded.. Awaiting 2.0 final, but I have no issues with waiting. I may try 2.0 beta though for the heck of it. Is there anyone who has switched BACK to 1.05? I wouldn't really see a reason why someone would want to, correct? I guess it being a "beta" file is deterring me..

the only bad part about beta is that during certain throttle positions it short shifts 3-4. Otherwise, it is great. just swapped to 91 performance last week, and it honestly feels like a completely different truck.
