Of course. I prefer 19800 myself. Just trying to find a way to avoid one or the other vocal contingent from getting stuck with a throttle they hate.

@OVTune, would it be possible for the final 2.0 release to offer 2 different tip-in values on your tunes? Users can choose to download the tune with either the 19770 tip in or the 19800 tip in. I think that since people have already tested both tip-ins, they already know what want and will select that which best suits them.

I am not familiar with tuning but seeing as how you already have the tip in table for 19770 and 19800, how difficult would it be to duplicate the tune and change the tip in on both?

If this is not a feasible option for you, would you be able to provide the tip in values of 19800 so we may change the tip in on the tune when vF software is up and running?

Ah, the great tip in talk.

Wouldn't use anything other than 19770!

Okay guys I’ve checked out the tune over the last year and have talked myself into buying soon, BUT I check the site and OVTune site and notice Matt is no longer doing the Tacoma tune package :/

So I’ve not had the time to research a lot, but is it still possible to get the tune somewhere (manual transmission)? Whether it’s new or from another TW member...

If the 2.0 tip in is the same as 16012 for my 04A61 ECU, I'll be happy.

If the tip in is like it was on 19800, then I will end up staying on 16012, bummer.

To me, the 19800 tip in was just about perfect. The aggressive version was almost impossible to back up my boat into the garage. The 2.0 has a 2 stage effect as others have noticed and commented.

@OVTune i know your close to final 2.0 and we have all seen the checklist you posted showing 95% is done but could you give an estimated time. This will give all your supporters on here something to go on cause some of us don't want to look at this site everyday. Much appreciated kind sir.

Everyone can tune the tip in anyway they like with vF tuner! Mat has already confirmed this. So there really isnt any need to ask for tune tip in adjusting before the release of 2.0 final! You get your cake and ice cream with the vF tuner.

So for someone who has never edited a tune before, whats the word on how the software will work. Will it be something of a selection e.g. base, low, mid, high, or is it going to be that we have to add values (which i am completely clueless about.

Mat has said he will have detailed instructions and videos its a wait and see but the way he explained it sounds like its pretty easy for all to do.

I think it was like $79 for those who already have a flash or dongle kit.
