I just want to keep my dongle, download 2.0 final and be done with this. But some douche bag had to ruin for us of dongle guys. Sad that Mat doesn't want to support his early buyers.

 

The reason Mat made the 1.05 tune unavailable for download for the 2019 and 2020 is because of safety issues. It had a brake override malfunction that would slam on the brakes while driving. I think this was in Jan or Feb this year. Mat has said it a few times not to use 1.05 on these years and urged them to load 2.0 Beta.
1.05 has not been available to download for 2019 and 2020 since Jan or Feb.

therealprotaco, I’m not sure why your being a dick towards me. There’s no reason for that. I haven’t complained and I don’t think I’ve posted anything in here that wasn’t true. If I did, I don’t mind being corrected.

I just went back and read about the brake override malfunction. It was only for the 2019 auto trans models. In early January Mat made the 1.05 tune unavailable to this vehicle.

 

You're an original owner. You can just request whichever file you want to be converted to vF compatible .

It's not just about that.
Dongle version files require being recreated entirely with a different encryption method with a different software.
There are less protections with dongle files,
etc.

it's the double amount of work + the recent events.

I'm not looking for a dongle version of 2.0 final. I just want access to previous versions of the dongle tunes after I switch over. Or a pf5 version of those tunes

 

So is page 1 out of date now? I'm so lost in what I need to do as dongle user.
