• $79 for anyone else who already has a flash kit.

You are still going to get the final 2.0. Now if you want the ability to tweak the final tune, then you pay the $79.

I for one will be interested in vF if and only if the final tip in is not what I expected

 

I think you are confused, because vF Tuner is not buying a custom tune, or custom tuning from us.
vF Tuner is a software that lets you make your own tune if you wanted. It allows you to edit tables, tune the ecu, take it to a dyno tuner, etc.

 

Please correct me if I am wrong but current flash kit owners will be able to request one of the tunes you offer and will be able to edit said tune in vF. All this at no cost correct?

 

That is correct.

I will be additionally clear:
1. You can only request files for YOUR trucks ECU
2. You cannot request all of them. like 1.02, 1.03, 1.04R, 1.05, etc.

 

VF tuner was never promised to be included with the flash kit purchase

 

Will i be able to tune others ECU with the VF tunner on my OFT handheld? or just from 16-17?? I get that i have to pay a credit each ecu I want to unlock right?

 

Yes. You can tune other trucks if you want to. You just have to purchase additional ID Credits for each of the available IDs.
vF Tuner software is not compatible directly with OFT handhelds to flash more than 1 vehicle. You can't flash multiple trucks with 1 handheld.

and it has not been completely removed either. It has been changed to case by case basis. I believe this was talked about some pages ago actually. I know this thread is impossible to follow.
My hope is that 2.0 solves the need for it.

Will old handhelds (non OFT ones) be compatible with vF? If so, will this be compatible for 2018-2020 models?
