But on serious note, do you think 27 sec of pi on 48 min drive is sufficient to keep valves clean?

 

I’m not sure you are even reading his responses. What he has said correlates exactly to your data and intended operation.

Also, he has asked you questions and you’ve avoided answering them.

Mine does that same thing on start up.

 

From what Im understanding, and I havent read much at all, people probably got upset that @OVTune is not updating his tunes fast enough (even though he has no obligation to update) and this @Vlady fellow got the idea/initiative to copy the tunes from OVT and tweak them himself and sell them to people who have OVT since they are compatible because they originate from OVT's system? That sounds like it can piss off OVT, but if you think about it, Vlady still needs OVT, although who knows for how long. I aint spending more on another tune tho, Ill just wait a few more days.

It is not you battery. Go watch your yesterday's movie and listen what guy is saying about startup injection mode.

DO THE MT TRUCKS HAVE A DIFFERENT ENGINE THAN THE AT TRUCKS???

The MT have had 2.0 Final for months. Why have (those 3 guys) not seen starting issues, injector issues, and the like? Should the ENGINE part of the tune not be the same?

 

Since there's still some minor things that need to be tweaked with 2.0 Final, is there going to be a re-release of it?

 

What? Have you read anything in the last 5 pages? He's pissed because he doesn't like how the new tune is regarding injection cleaning cycles. Where the heck did you get your assumption? Nobody can tweak the tunes yet, VF is not released.

 

From my previous experience working with DI, you could probably use even less than 27 seconds and be fine.
I'm not sure how much carbon or gunk is accumulated in 48 mins but it's almost none.

Carbon and gunk build up comes from constant short drives where things such as oil, valves, coolant, etc do not maintain optimal temperature for very long, so the oil and other vapors being consumed through the intake port by the crankcase ventilation does not get efficiently consumed by the engine. This gunk builds up on the valves and intake ports over time due to the intake ports never. NEVER, being sprayed with gasoline.

Now if you take a DI only car, and add auxiliary injection (let's say for boost where aux fuel is needed), this auxiliary fuel may be used only a total of 2 to 3 minutes over the course of ...weeks, and the intake valves remain clean.
And that's with a single jet, not individual per cylinder jets spraying directly on the valve.

 

Do we have to pay for vf?
