You could pay for vfTuner and keep your dongle or turn it in and get vfTuner for free ;)

OV 93 tune, TRD pro intake, LED headlights, LED interior lights, tuffskinz interior overlays "RCF", tailgate inlay, Illuminated kickplates, blue interior compartment inlays. Painted voodoo blue interior trim, nitto ridge grapplers, bara 1 inch spacers, redline pro hood struts, trd oil and radiator caps.

so is the "dongle" the orange thing that plugs into the OBDII port like mine? or something else, im pretty confused as I havent followed the process for about 6 months and just periodically checked the website if the god damn 2.0 beta would finally release.

Negatory, Thats all part of the tactrix setup...you are dongle-less. We just smile, wave and wait lol.

We have the option for the $79 vF upgrade if so desired

Not to be picky, but I think we’re patiently waiting on the 2.0 final :tumbleweed:

Bringing this thread back to OVTune, maybe you guys can answer one of my zen desk questions.

When I installed the software on my PC windows 10 defender and malware bytes blew up saying Trojan this Trojan that and a couple other things. Is this a normal occurrence?

Yes, you can set up an exception or work to disable Windows Defender completely. Folks have done both

for some it was, just add those files or the entire folder where you keep all ovtune files to the exception list.

    I
I just temporarily turn off all the monitoring in Windows Defender including the real time monitoring, app monitoring, firewall monitoring etc., flash the tune and then turn all monitoring back on once I know the tune is working properly.

Just ignore him. He is clearly a classless Richard.

These are tough times, I hope it turns out better for you soon.

That's. the story on forums, youtube comments, social media etc these days. Lot's of shoot from the hip non thought attacks that show people are too disconnected.

On a thread note, I do love all the support the developer is getting. Owning your own business is tough enough, especially one where you have to produce something yourself to meet so many needs.

I don’t post much but do watch the thread pretty closely. I can see where you’re coming from but I’ve also noticed that there is a bandwagon that people tend to jump on for very real issues being experienced. No knock on those bringing up their experiences. But when Matt explains things or notes that it happens on stock as well, the complaining doesn’t go away. This is where most of the people on this thread tend to side against those “people with issues”. So it creates the illusion that there are only fanboys or you’re an outcast for speaking up.

Startup issues, not going into 6th, DI/PI... all valid concerns but Matt also addressed them and then we see posts along the lines of “Trucks aren’t starting, misfiring is happening, carbon build up could be happening, our pet’s heads are falling off!” Those kinds of “concerns” aren’t helpful and will naturally be defended by the majority who read and accepted Matt’s explanation.

I’m still waiting on my flash key after my dongle was delivered last Monday but I’m also waiting to flash the next 2.0 beta since Matt said it addresses the main feedback given so far.
