He's mentioned that the serials are getting pre-registered but some fall through the cracks so it may be that he took you e-mailing your serial to be one of those that fell through the cracks....or maybe it was one of those that fell through.

Wasn't 1.02B written with no shift pattern changes? Meaning, the shift schedule was left stock?

 

My question would be then, if Matt said that the instructions are updated (which he said they are after I asked about the driver downloads), then why have the instruction to email him the serial # if in fact that doesn’t need to be done?

Glad yours worked. Almost makes me tempted to go give it a try......almost. To scared to let my impatience mess things up somehow.

 

Could be... the "Read" button was greyed out until I pasted in the registration key he emailed me.

unzip it and place the .exe somewhere, AFTER you disable windows defender.

 

If the "Read" button works, then you're good to go. If the button is greyed-out, you'll need to get the activation key from Matt.

 

He also may have stopped pre-registering them due to available time.

The instructions are on the most updated version.
We have the first section of the dongles pre-registered for you. We were doing full activation but it was slowing us down, and any risk of it getting lost in shipping means the license is lost. Doing so this way, worst case scenario if lost in shipping the dongle is lost but software registration is safe.

for the MT "gear" related adjustments.
I've been working on some of the torque controls for each gear, and working on some rev limiter things (in 1.02C)

 

Downloaded and installed while Defender was up and active, no issues.

Hopefully you disabled it before you attempt to start flashing. The logging that the .exe performs while flashing triggers windows defender to see it as a trojan keylogger and may stop midway through the flash as it did for me. You don't want it to do that.

 

Drove 20 City Miles with 1.02C Shift A last night and felt the difference right away.
Haven't even touched ECT yet and haven't felt the need to.

I came from 1.02B wih ECT always on

No kit yet...

I kill all of those app prior to using them, just stating the download, install
isn't affected by it. As a Network Engineer...I was just curios if any of them
would detect and try to stop it at a download/install level.
