haha, yah we (AT owners) know all too well. No more light hearted jokes for you. I will go have a Corona now cause it is way better to drink compared to stuff recommended by the HMFIC. :oldglory::brianr::cheers:

Whoa, you kind of lost your shit there. Guessing you hadn’t seen all the previous posts explaining things. Looks like the forum straightened you out. Keep calm, it’s going to be ok.

You see how it works. Now I gotta go look up AGM batteries and learn more ways of spending money. Okay, here I go.

Unrelated question- how are you liking 2.0 with the MT? My old manual on 255/85s still felt kinda gutless with 1.05. It bothered me enough to not buy another manual taco when the time came. (I only sold my MT in order to invest the cash into my business). Finally back in a 3rd gen again and I’m not sure if I made a mistake buying the AT this time lol

    2.0 is awesome. It’s a huge improvement from 1.05

If I had an AT, it would definitely have 4.88s or 5.29 gears. It makes a huge difference

I don’t know, maybe it’s perspective based on previous vehicles, but I’m struggling to rush to regear now that I’ve got time on the new 2.0 beta 31-33 91 tune.

My 2017 Tacoma was my first new vehicle in 15 years. First vehicle I’ve ever lifted or modified. Previous truck was a 2003 Tacoma DCSB TRDOR that I kept mostly stock but ran E load 265/70 tires and drove for 275,000+ miles over 13 years. Prior to that I had a 2002 Ranger FX4 (bought new after I totaled F150, sold at loss to get the used 4-door taco), then 1997 F150 (totaled hitting an elk), then a 1992 Ranger, then an 1988 Chevy S10. S10 with 4.0 V6 in a regular cab was actually damn sporty. All were 4x4. I’ve only ever owned and driven trucks, mostly midsize.

Granted I’m running 265/75/R16 in C-load (46 lbs), but with the new 2.0 beta in ECT it feels like it has plenty of power for 33” tires for my taste. I’m about to move to 255/80/R17 based on how well my truck is driving with the new 2.0 beta. I’ll know by the end of the summer if I’m wrong.

Yes, you’re right. We should have to review two threads and a Facebook page to determine what is going on with the product we paid for when the description on the vendor website is quite clear. Straightened me right out.

Glad we got that all straightened out. $45k PRO Tacoma and you’re losing your shit over the difference between $75 and $200.

I scooped up a Northstar in a group buy about a year ago.

Cranks without the slightest hesitation 12-months out of the year.
